First Wave Info - "First Wave Cancelled. No Fourth Season". |

Sci-Fi was interested in First Wave Fourth Season renewal due to fan enthusiasm shown through last year's October-December
2000 snail mail campaign (while First Wave wasn't on the air in the U.S. ) and from the 1000+ fan signatures in
the on-line fan petition.
Sci-Fi had the money to back up their interest in renewing First Wave for a Fourth Season. Co-producer's Pearson
U.K./Peace Arch companies, while also interested in a fourth season of First Wave, couldn't get the money to back
their interest in renewing First Wave.
So, First Wave not renewed for fourth season. Read show creator, Chris Brancato's post telling the fans about 'The End' of First Wave. |

to SCI-FI on 7/21/01,
after which, First Wave is cancelled.
But with the SCI-FI chanel, who knows?
Since January, they've rescheduled the show twice, then took it off the air for 3 months!
