Although originally practiced as a fitness exercise it's other benefits are becoming more widely known, not just their curative but as a preventive against disease. QiGong stimulates life's energy to help us keep fit and well. The Chinese call this energy force "Chi", and if the "Chi" flows smoothly we stay healthy. Qigong is based on the meridian theory of traditional Chinese medicine and is not only relaxing and pleasurable to perform but encourages body, mind and spirit to unify and give a feeling of tranquillity and well being. |
