Akasha - A Sanskrit term that refers to the primodial substance upon which is imprinted the events of our lives. The information imprinted on the akasha includes actions, desires, hopes, dreams, all of your life, and your reactions to it. This includes past lives -- what they were and what they are destined to be. It also includes the probable futures that you have and the destined purposes for them. The records also include the overall evolution of the person. The records are three-dimensional and can be viewed in either two or three dimensions. They can be viewed by any person that is in a meditative, psychic, or intuitional state, usually through spiritual keys such as the Third Eye Chakra and the color black through the Saturn branch of the Tree of Life. Chakras are used in conjuction with resonances to open the akasha and perform other occult practices. Dreams - Series of thoughts, images, or emotions occurring during sleep that are usually messages from the subconscious -- they can express what is happening in the physical body before we are aware of it, balance the physiological and psychological activities in us, be an enormous source of insight and information, express human supersenses, solve problems, and reach beyond the known world. Dreams consist of symbols that the spirit uses to communicate with from the subconscious to the conscious. Interpreting these symbols helps to understand the important messages hidden in dreams. Karma - A Sanskrit term that means "to balance," it is a force generated by a person's actions that determines the consequences of a soul's life and future lives. Throughout the process of reincarnation, it is the soul's duty to try to compensate and balance all of its karma to reach enlightment. Karma constantly effects us and what we do with our lives. Karma built up over our lifetimes effects us even when we don't realize it. Many instances where this happens is in love relationships, views on equality, blocking others, exchanging energy with others, and preference of your location, attitudes, choices, and ego. Karmic wheels - A karmic wheel is a "wheel" between two people that are drawn back to each other lifetime after lifetime to learn to deal with one another, until such a time as one of the persons recognizes what is going on and chooses to take away his or her energy from the wheel effect and turn it to other uses. Sometimes this wheel happens in love relationships that have not been honest or truly loving to one another. It can also happen in business or political relationships. When one person realizes what is going on and makes the necessary changes, they are released from the wheel. The other person, however, rolls their wheel around until they can connect it with someone else in a similar situation, or until they begin to learn and change. Kekkai - A spiritual barrier that can be put up by a spell to act as a shield. The energy between kindred souls is very powerful and they will help one another expand to new levels. Kindred souls are usually always opposite genders, to help balance energies, although on some rare occasions they will be the same gender. Most kindred souls will remain in their relationship for many lifetimes before changing to other kindred souls, although their roles may change from lifetime to lifetime, such as exchanging gender. There are four suits in the Minor Arcana -- the Wands (also called Rods or Staves), the Cups, the Swords, and the Pentacles (also called Disks or Coins).
