Terri's father was in the construction business, and she became interested in wildlife when her dad brought home injured animals from the road. Terri would take care of them and nurse the animals back to health. In 1986 Terri began running an animal rehabilitation center. She would take care of hundreds of animals each year! In 1991, Terri took a vacation to Australia, to learn how to better her center. She met Steve not much later and were engaged in only 3 months! Five months after engagement, they were happily married, on June 4, 1992. Now they both live in Queensland, Australia with their little girl Bindi Sue.
