1. |
Move your car to a shaded area, and make sure it is cool. Hot surfaces cause water to dry too quickly and increases the chance of water spotting. |
2. |
Starting from the top, rinse off loose surface dirt with water before starting. This minimizes abrasion from small particles. |
3. |
Start washing the vehicle while it is still wet: start from the top and work down. We recommend that you use a soft sponge or cloth, or a soft mitt. |
4. |
Using a scrub brush, wash and rinse inside of your wheel wells. This will help fight corrosion from road salt and high humidity. |
5. |
Use a separate sponge or cloth for glass windows to prevent scratching or transferring particles to the window. |
6. |
Dry your vehicle. We recommend a synthetic chamois cloth. It absorbs better, scratches the least, is easy to wring out and presents less drag than a natural chamois. If you don't have a synthetic chamois, you can use a pre-softened, 100% cotton towel. |
