Sad news...I don't know if anyone still comes to this website, hoping for updates, but I have to dash your hopes now. As of August 9th, The Kamishibai Rating Site is officially closed. The existing reviews will stay up indefinitely, but I will not be writing or accepting any new ones. Why? A combination of various things. Hardly anyone makes Kamishibai stories these days, even less people review them, I have no subscription time left - and above all, I've lost interest in the fandom. Even if I had time to finish the second part of my series or make a brand new story, I'd have to *force* myself to do it. It wouldn't be any fun. And things that are not fun should not be done unless they grant you money. This is more or less a definite "goodbye". Thanks for being there while you were, guys - it was fun. I'd name all of you, but it's been so long I'm certain to forget someone. So, if you're a Kamishibai (ex-)author and your reaction to the name "Meagen" is "oh, her!" and not "who?", consider yourself the recipient of a warm and friendly farewell. Sailor Moon fanfics: self-explanatory, I hope. Star Soldiers: stories from this original universe. Weirdness: stories too short to grade; jokes, poems, etc. One-part stories: Stories with one or two parts available. Series: 3+ parts. My rating/review system: How it's organised. The Crew: Profiles of reviewers who've contributed to the site. Supporters: Profiles of people who haven't submitted as many reviews, but we love them anyway. The icons: List of icons I use, with description and credits. Fun facts: some pointless stuff about my site. Comments? Suggestions? Death threats? E-mail me! Use this button to link to me: ![]() |
