This piece was created after attending an opera who's story line took place in medieval times and one of the royalties' costumes sparked the idea of medalions being a current wearable art with my gemstone beads.

Necklace: "Opera" series; Fancy Agate Pi (disks) with assorted semi-precious gemstones.

The "Opera" pieces are made to be worn in the manner similar to a flower lei. It is to sit draped and centered across your back and chest in a stately manner as a person of royalty would wear a necklace of medallions. This is one of my favorite pieces that I would wear to the opera.
