Drawing On The Right Side of the Brain by Betty Edwards Publ. By J.P. Tarcher I.S.B.N. 0-87477-523-X This book, I feel is a staple for any artist. If you don't own or have not yet read it I suggest buying it immediately.
Disney's Animation Magic by Don Hahn Disney Press I.S.B.N. 0-7868-3072-7 By the producer of The Lion King, Aladdin, Beauty, Hunchback And many of Disney's most beloved films. This book explains in pretty good detail Just about all there is to know about animation. A must for the beginning animation enthusiast.
Disney Animation: The Illusion of Life by F. Thomas and O. Johnston Abbeville Publ. I.S.B.N. 0-89659-232-4 This book was written by two of Walt Disney's "nine old men." Both are considered to be some of the top experts to have ever worked in the industry
