Servants of Morgoth

Assignment 3

Assignment 4

Assignment 5

  1. Public enemy number one is of course Morgoth, with 30,000 hp, the ability to summon any other monster in the game, with a preference for deep uniques, brain smashing, which can slow and stat drain, and mana storms, which are perhaps the most powerful direct damage attack existant.
    • Sauron is the next mightiest foe in Vanilla, because though he has fewer hp, he too can mana storm and summon uniques, especially ringwraiths.
    • Gothmog, High Captain of the Balrogs
  2. the next deepest noteworthy foes, who are actually more famous as game enders, are angels
    1. Azariel, The Angel of Death. "Azariel breaths nether. -more- You Die." a +20 speed nether breather, who easily has the hps to keep breath damage at the cap (550) for half the fight, not to mention nether balls, bolts, mana bolts, and angel summoning.
    2. Uriel, the Angel of Fire. As fire resistance is much easier to get, and fire can be double resisted, Uriel has put far fewer @s in the grave.
  3. Hounds, Wolves, and Canids
    1. uniques
      1. Carcagoth, The Jaws of Thirst
Carcagoth was a wolf raised by Morgoth himself, who guarded the gates of Angband until Beren and Luthien stole a Silmaril from Morgoth's crown.
      2. Grip, Fang, and Wolf
to be slain by Farmer Maggots lost dogs is a mark of shame.
    2. Hounds
      1. Gravity hounds
These are the most dangerous breed of hound native to stat gain territory (1350'-1950'). They breath gravity, an unresistable element that slows the @ for long enough for the pack to finish him/her/it off.
      2. Inertia Hounds
Inertia hounds are an unknown danger to me, as the one character who lived down to their depth was so overcautious near them that they did not have a chance to breath.
