FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

DAUGHTER OF AN ALZHEIMER'S PATIENT,
PUBLISHES RECIPES MY MOTHER FORGOT

Surrey, BC, February 22, 2000 -- Cheryl Rhodes has published
Recipes My Mother Forgot…Family Style Cooking and a
Caregiver's Guide to Alzheimer's Disease
.  Her mother, Isobel Rhodes, is one of 45,000 people in the province of British
Columbia who suffer from a form of dementia, and Cheryl is part of 30% of the population who are affected by this terrible disease.

Recipes My Mother Forgot is a compilation of the recipes
Isobel Rhodes collected over forty years.  She was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease in 1995 and eventually lost the
mental capacity to cook meals.  Instead of letting her mother's cookbook gather dust on a shelf, Cheryl Rhodes has put
together a unique collection of 108 delicious family style
recipes and first hand information on coping with a victim of Alzheimer's Disease.
Recipes My Mother Forgot will assist caregivers with new meal ideas while learning about
Alzheimer's Disease.

Leaving a corporate business life behind and opting for the
freedom of the ever expanding home based business industry, Rhodes formed Mermaid-Rhodes Publishing in August, 1999 and
Recipes My Mother Forgot is her first book.  A portion of the proceeds from each book sold will be donated to an
Alzheimer's Organization.
