on the surface of this jar are designs of
Chinese ancesters, Fuxi (male) and Nyuwa (femal).
But this capped bottle was not of Hans origin.
Why? Dogs instead of dragons are serving here
as holy animal. This artifact can be dated
up to Han dynasty or older. |
