So Perfect
I find myself standing by my window
Looking out while looking in
Dreaming of someone who saw my innocence
With no idea of where I’ve been.
Sweet and kind she calls me
I deserve a sweeter girl
One who loves through thick and thin
One who’d make my world.
But I’m sorry if I know myself
And sorry still for your mistake
But meeting you has caught myself
Other dreams just feel so fake.
I had perfection once
And it was nothing I’d dreamt of
And when you say we’d have hard times
I’d say that’s the most perfect love.
