Poetry and Songs of Love

Lovely Lies
Sometimes false hopes and lies are the greatest memories of love, however misleading they may be. This is for a girl who I don't know anymore, and will probably never see again, but when I knew her it was incredible. Written November or December 2004.
Come Back
Song I wrote for someone before I left for college. Written Mid-August 2004.
So Perfect
Hopes that maybe someone will see who I am and trust my judgment. Written December of 2004.
Drive You to Me
A song I wrote for someone. The best memories I have are just driving around over the summer listening to music in my car with the windows down. Written January 12-17, 2004.
Let's Go
A song I wrote, inspired by a conversation I had with the girl it was for. Talking about how much we wanted winter to end so it could be spring and we could go for aimless drives at night. Written sometime between January and March of 2004.
I See No Reason Not To
A song I wrote, inspired by the answer given by my girlfriend when asked if we'd stay together after I left for college. Kinda weird reading it now, it would seem I fell short of a few promises. Written between March and May of 2004.
Our Story
Written at 5:30 in the morning in an empty hallway of a BU dorm after being awake for close to 24 hours. This is my new favorite at the moment, just because I'm so desperately trying to avoid emo. I'm putting it in the Love section, and it seems very romantic, but it's not quite. The love isn't like "LOVE" love, more like a friend love, and whatnot. I don't know, it makes sense to me. Written February 4, 2005.
