Hero Quest Adventures

Below, for your own enjoyment is a few quests for your HeroQuest players who think they've overcome every monster, recovered every treasure, saved every noble, and skirted every trap. What they will realise as they step into the dungeons below, is that they have only just begun. If you came here before in search of adventure, you may have been disappointed with the older versions of these quests. This is because when I made them, I thought they would fit easily to a single page but looking at them now, I realise that was wrong. I have re-made them to be a lot smaller and still managed to fit quite a lot of detail into the page. So here they are. And look, there are quite a few to take a look at and since they are each about 46k in size, most of you wont even be able to blink in the time it takes for one to download.

The only info that isn’t included with these quests has been included in the Herobase file below. This holds all the map items and the map itself that I use as well as any information that you will need. Although it isn’t perfect, it should be more than enough. If you can be bothered making those monster pictures and sending them to me, that would be quite cool but the maps don’t really need them. And if you don’t like how I’ve done a quest, feel free to modify it to your liking. But as I’ve said before, don’t do that and then say the entire thing was all your idea. It’s too easy to make a quest to try and rip off someone else anyway.

Herobase.zip is the name of it and contains a single bare map for you to work with. Although I created it, there wasn't much to it and so you don't have to make any references to me. However, I would appreciate it if you had a link to my page and even e-mailed me telling me of your page.

Well, what can I say about any of these adventures? Basically, you should just download each of 'em and see how you like 'em. I cannot say more than that because unlike Warhammer Quest, these quests' storylines are very shallow… Some of them continue on from others but as my collection of them is all mixed up, some of the predecessors for those adventures above are not the ones directly underneath them. If you print all of them out (which you will probably do if you still like HeroQuest) you will be able to sort out which ones continue from which other ones.

HeroQuest was my first introduction to RPG's way back when I was a wee little lad and I had made many adventures when I was still quite young. Yep, you guessed it, all these quests above I wrote while I was only 12 years old. And if you look at the side of the box, this is about the minimum age requirements to just be playing the game. Alas, my quests are nothing spectacular but they were fun nonetheless.

Listed above is all the adventures I made when I first got my hands on the game except for the first one I made ~ "Monsters Grave" ~ which was too crap even by the above standards to mention. Anyway, I haven’t made any quests since the ones above were done and so if I do ever get around to making more, they will appear under those above just as soon as possible.

Seeya later lads…
