About MILLER-ROTH
MILLER-ROTH is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit, tax-exempt
organization for animals in Boone County, Missouri. It was founded to accomplish
three things:
To help each animal find and keep a loving owner who
will care for them for the rest of their lives.
To educate the people of our community with regards
to animal care, health and welfare.
To represent and protect the interests of animals,
with respect to the humans with whom they share this planet.
MILLER-ROTH was founded in 1989, in memory of husband
and wife, Jerome Roth, D.V.M., and Ann Miller-Roth, D.V.M., both graduates
of the University of Missouri School of Veterinary Medicine, who were killed
in an automobile accident. During their lives, they touched many, especially
the animals they cared for, found homes for, and adopted themselves. MILLER-ROTH
was founded to carry on their selfless work.
As close friends and colleagues, they inspired us to
do whatever we can, to make a difference, to make the world a better place
for both animals and people.
