Yuzuriha and Kamui Reasons
Alright, here is where my opinion starts and the nonsense that runs through my head begins. I'm warning you now...once you see what's in my head...you may never be the same again. *lol* j/k.
Would Kamui and Yuzuriha actually become a couple? It's highly unlikely. There aren't many really valid reasons to why these two would ever become a couple and I'm sure CLAMP haven't even taken the possibility into consideration. However, if these two were ever to get together, I think it would be rather nice.
1. Kamui and Yuzuriha are very cute together.
Not appearance wise but more like personality wise. In a sense, these two are almost complete opposites. Though both are kind hearted, slightly naive and rather innocent, Yuzuriha is extremely genki or exhuberant and seems to be bursting with energy. She can brighten up anybody's day and seems to be extremely optomistic. Kamui, on the other hand, has been through a lot, from the death of his mother and his childhood sweetheart to the betrayal of his friend, Fuuma. He's not as happy as Yuzuriha and sometimes overly genki people do tend to care/overwhelm him a bit. *cough*Keiichi and Yuzuriha*cough, cough* ^^;; I think Kamui needs someone like Yuzuriha in his life. Someone to cheer him up everyday and make him smile. Plus, you know what they say about opposites...(thinks about science. EGAD! *falls over*)
2. They care for each other.
Sure, they're friends but they really do care for each other. Sometimes, when the other person is not looking, that person will look at the other with kind eyes. This occurs between Yuzuriha and Kamui a lot lately (but not isolated to those two only), especially when chibi-Inuki first appears (vol. 15). It's nice. Also, the look of tremendous sadness that Kamui had in his eyes when he was looking at Yuzuriha's seat was heart breaking; Yuzuriha had been missing for awhile now and Kamui was really worried about her...tho, the silly girl never thought of _actually_ contacting her friends, beforehand. silly, silly...
3. Yuzuriha is not dead.
*lmao* Sorry...this is an inside joke between a friend and I, and I _HAD_ to put this on. (I have nothing against Kamui and Kotori but I'm ALL for teasing my friend. *lol*) heh heh... sorry...okay and onwards...
4. Chibi-Inuki likes Kamui a lot.
Heh heh...I know what you're thinking, "WHAT THE HELL?!" *cough* Anyway, Chibi-Inuki seems to really like Kamui and though, this seems like a stupid reason...well, to tell you the truth...it is. It's just that Inuki really likes Yuzuriha and Kamui and maybe he senses their compatibility. 0_o...nevermind. heh heh... Also, Yuzuriha had wondered if she would fall in love with the first person who sees Inuki and BAM! in pops Kusanagi. However, the first person to see the new Inuki was Kamui...that and Fuuma but that would REALLY be screwed up. ^^;; Maybe Yuzuriha will fall in love with Kamui? (OK, lame reason, I know. ha ha...)
5. They live together.
Yuzuriha, Kamui, Sorata and Arashi live together and they're practically family. It's just that the two live together and probably know each other's little quirks. Also, at the house, they'll spend a little more time together than with the other Dragons and probably have more opportunity to get close to each other. 0_o yeah, yeah...whatever... ^^;; Plus, it was cute, how Sorata once told them that they'd both be very good house wives. *lmao*
6. The look.
Near the end of Volume 15, Sorata kind of gives Yuzuriha and Kamui this look. It's kind of a look of kindness, as if Sorata knows what's happening and takes a moment to smile about it. Anyway, what happens is that (evil) Hinoto sends Sorata, Arashi, Yuzuriha and Kamui to the temple where Yuzuriha with Daisuke had met up with Seiichirou. Yuzuriha, having learned of Daisuke's recent death, became a little sad and Kamui kind of places a hand on Yuzuriha's shoulder. (It's cute cause chibi-Inuki kinda raises his head to sniff at Kamui's hand.) Kamui places his hand there as an act of support, they kinda look at each other and Yuzuriha nods at him. There's some unspoken communication going on and after that Yuzuriha doesn't look like she's about to cry. After this act, it pans out and focuses on Sorata who is looking at the both of them. Maybe he sees that they care for each other?...or maybe he's just looking at Kamui and is very proud of him. ha ha...
