He is wrong.Jon Dimasalanta is a normal university student, always trying to find his place among the multitude of young men and women, and always feeling out of place. In his search for his identity he has become a lot of different people, an athlete, an artist and most importantly a friend. Jon became particularly happy with his university life especially because of his special relationship with a very special girl named Kat. But as everything in life there are always beginnings and in the case of his happy relationship with his girl, an ending. That end would be the beginning of the struggle
that is Minsan Ako'y Nanaginip.

The Dream

The lands of the Union of Mae were in turmoil, what was once a peaceful co-existence was shattered by the impending war between the High Council and the rebel tribe of Komara Mantapoli. A war that was instigated by the High Priest, Uwak, of the Aswang Temple. Uwak manipulated both parties to engage each other in combat. Each parties' hate was fueled by
the lies and deception spread by Uwak which brought to fruition the prophecy, the return of their dark lord, the Sugo.
The final chapter in this conflict took place in the jungles of the
North, where legend
has it the Sugo was imprisoned a millennia ago. Here the boy dreamer sees the High
Council's Ampays face to face along with the Royal Family of Komara Mantapoli for the final showdown. The Ampays of the council proved to be true sons of the Earth's magic when they used the very essence of the forests against the nobles of Komara. This in turn forced the hands of Suleiman, Lakan of Komara Mantapoli, to enact the a ritual of desperation to save
his people against the onslaught of the Council's magical warriors. And by that act alone, Lakan has ushered the people of the Union into a new era of doom.
.The Sugo was unleashed onto the land that he once served. Thirsty for vengeance against those who imprisoned him, maddened by the torturous years of imprisonment, his mind was attuned to one purpose alone, the destruction of the High Council and the destruction of the land of Mae.

The Prophecy

Here at the end of the dream, Jon Dimasalanta found himself in the lands of Mae
armed with only a broken dagger that he had found when he awoke. Jon still believed that
this was only a dream and sooner or later he would awake and forget everything. But that is not to be for he is the land's only hope against the re-awakened evil. For in the prophecies he who comes from another world will be the foot who crushes the serpent of darkness.
The old prophecy of the coming of the Sugo has foretold that only an outlander can gather the seven dragons of Minokaoa who are required to finish the evil one forever. Along with the seven chosen, are seven magical beasts to ride and to wield the legendary weapons of the Earth. In the eyes of the people of the land, Jon is supposed to be a hero but in truth all he wants to do is come back to his world to fix a broken relationship. Thrust into a magical world that he believes only to be a dream, he is faced with the burden to fulfill the prophecy for only then
can he return home. Thus is started the story of Minsan Ako'y Nanaginip.
