Xmas ornament Winter Warmer

A design from Leisure Arts' Best 250 Christmas Quickies, this was one of a group of co-ordinating pieces.

I stitched it on 22-count white hardanger fabric, over one thread, with one strand of DMC embroidery floss.

I finished it by folding under the edges, and blanket-stitching a piece of felt to the back. The hanger is a length of silver metallic thread.

Xmas Lambs Christmas Lambs

From Sam Hawkins' 520 Christmas Cross-Stitch Designs

I stitched it up on 25-count antique-white lugana fabric using three strands of DMC floss.

The two color versions of this little lamb were actually in two different parts of this book of patterns. I just thought they might be cute facing each other. I altered their patterns slightly by moving their noses down one square from where they were on the chart.

Santa Paws
