Cinderella has brought the joy and laughter back into our home.  She is working wonders with Pierce - bringing him out of his shell and helping him become more confident.  It is such a pleasure to have such a happy little pup and to see Pierce playing again.  I didn't realize how much Pierce missed having a companion to play with, until Cinderella came to live with us.

Not only is Cinderella pretty and sweet, she is also very intelligent and eager to please.  Cinderella passed her Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dog tests after only 2 weeks of obedience class.  Cinder is very sensitive to peoples needs and acts accordingly, she can be quite the little snuggle bug.  She has become a great therapy dog with over 150 visits to date.  Recently Cinder and I had the opportunity to visit the WTC Family Assistance Center at Pier 94.  This is an extraordinary situation for therapy dogs, not all can handle it.  It is a very large, crowded, noisy building and people's emotions are running high.  I was not sure how Cinder would handle it, as she is a country dog.  This was her first trip to NYC.  She did fine.  She acted like a native New Yorker.  The sites and sounds of the city did not phase her at all and she brought some comfort and smiles to many family members and volunteer workers at the Pier.

Cinder loves agility and seems to have a natural ability for it.  This fall she earned her NADAC and AKC Novice Agility titles and finished her AKC Novice Jumpers Agility title and AKC Open Agility title with placements on all legs this spring.  

We also started showing in obedience and Cinder just earned her ASCA Companion Dog title.  

I couldn't ask for more in a dog than I have with Cinderella.  I am truly blessed to have her.  I look forward to all we will do together.  I know it will be lots of fun, especially if she has anything to say about it.
