I met Terri through her older sister, and friend, Jeannie. Terri was only a year older than me, but in terrible condition. She had COPD, Lupus, Fibromyalgia, and a host of other problems.
Terri had always wanted a website but didn't know how to make one. She asked her sister, Jeannie, if she knew someone who would do it. Time hangs heavy on my hands, so when Jeannie mentioned it to me I said, "sure I'd love to". I wrote to Terri and we talked about what she wanted to say and do with her website.
Not long after I began the web page, I could see that Terri's condition was getting worse. Although she was in tremendous pain, she never complained. Seven short months after I'd begun her website, Terri was gone. Leaving behind her family and friends.
Fill not your heart with pain and sorrow, but remember Terri in every tomorrow. Remember with joy her smiles, for she's only gone for a little while. So dry your eyes and remember She, not as she is now, but as she used to be. As long as she has the love of each of us, she lives on in the hearts of all of us.
