2-20-00 Baby Dreams and Birthday wishes well, yesterday was my birthday, I'm 27, and i had one wish, that this baby will be born in August, safe and sound. *sigh* iv'e had brown spotting since Tuesday that does not want to go away. I thought it was because we had "fun" on Sunday night, and that was the first time in 4 weeks due to our ER scare, but it hasn't stopped. I did call the dr. and he thought it was the same thing, so to just take it easy and 'none of that' for at least a week. So here I am, Sunday and it's just as much as it was Tuesday. I've just got off the phone with the dr. again and he wants me to come in tomorrow to be checked to make sure things are ok. he said it's probably nothing, but just to be sure. *big sigh* i just wish it'd stop and that i wouldn't have to worry about the baby like this.

This little one is just not going to let me go about my normal duties! I just want them safe and growing well. "Please help us Lord." I need to keep my faith.

On the good side, I had another baby dream last night. We were in the car and had our little girl putting her in the new carseat i have in the closet for her. :) She had a lot of dark hair that looked a bit wavy. Her little face was red, like she was a newborn and she was just a normal size, probably somewhere between 7 - 8 pounds. :) So that makes 2 girl dreams. :) Let's hope that they come true.

2-22-00 My dr. appt went well. There was a nerve wracking few seconds when he couldn't find the heartbeat. then he found mine, which i knew it wasn't the baby's, then he searched some more and finally found it tucked up in the upper right corner. *whew* Then he did a cervical check and seen that some of my cervical cells were inverted (?) and that could be causing them to be sensitive. he couldn't see anywhere else that the old blood could be coming from, so it was probably from the placenta still being healing. He said the good news was that it's obviously bleeding very slowly since the blood was brown by the time i seen it. So i'm on orders of no sex, no housework (like vaccumming, scrubbing, etc), no heavy lifting of any kind, things like that til i have at least 2 days of no bleeding.

I still go back on march 7th for my regular appt. I'll get my blood work done then, and should get an appt for an ultrasound.

Feb.29, 00 well, today is a leap year day. Imagine that. I’m now 27 with 2 kids and one on the way. I think this is about how I wanted my life to be at this point. J

I had my first glass of sweet tea made here at home in like 4 months last night. It wasn’t too bad. The juice and water and milk still taste much better.

Yesterday was a very nice day here. It got up to like 70 degrees or close to it. The kids played outside a lot and I got 3 loads of clothes on the line to dry. I love it when it’s nice so I can save money on the electric bill. J I fixed the kids a picnic for lunch and we ate outside on the porch. They really liked that. I did too. Just might do it again today. It’s supposed to be even warmer today. Love it!

My next appt is a week from today. I’ve got to mention to the Dr. about this hip pain I’ve been having. I know it’s just from my joints loosening up, but wow, it sure has started early and this hurts as bad as a sciatic nerve! It’s not all the time, but the more I’m up and about, the worse it gets. I’ll be going along fine and all of a sudden it’s like I’m limping like a lame dog! L It was so sore yesterday it felt like my whole left buttock was bruised, which it isn’t’, just the pain is so bad.

I’m getting eager for my ultrasound. J Little bit gave me a swift kick this morning. J I like that! I know I’ll want them to calm down when they get bigger, but for now, I love every nudge and budge that I get!

3/2/00 Today is my 7 year anniversary. J wow! I can’t believe its’ been that long already. I had just turned 20 when me and Robert got married, and he was 25. it’s amazing how fast time can go by. It just seems like last year we were coming home from the hospital with canaan and were watching him grow, now we’re waiting on our 3rd baby to get here.

They’ve been good years, I must say that. Robert and I are like best friends and better. We like hanging around with each other and spending time with each other. We know how to read each other, and we just get along really well. We are like opposites though. He is very outgoing, can talk to anybody, anytime. Me, it takes awhile to get comfortable around new people. He’s usually loud, while I’m usually quiet. J I guess you can say that we balance each other out, because we help each other with the things we’re not to good at. He’s helped me be more personable, while I’ve helped him to be more…gentle. J

Here’s to 7 times 7 more years and more than that. I’m glad God chose my husband for me, I sure couldn’t’ have done a better job. J

3-6-00 I go to the dr. tomorrow for my regular checkup. today i had to call because Canaan has parvo virus (5ths disease) for the children it's not really anything to worry about. it's basically a virus infection that causes them to get a red rash. once they have it, they're immune to it for life. the thing is i dont know if i've had it. i hope i have. i was in day care before starting 1st grade and all those years at public school, surely i've had it. some of what i read on it is very disturbing, from fetal mortality or serious defects, and others are like, nothing to worry about cause 80% of women are immune to it.

i talked to my dr. and he said not to worry aobut it.......so. i dont know whether i'm aggrevated or relived. i go tomorrow anyway, so i'll talk more about it then. they said they didnt' do any tests for it either.

i'll update tomorrow and looks like start a new page. stay tuned to find out how much i've gained. :) and to see when i get my ultrasound. :)
