Following My Pregnancy

This is a page to get a picture document of my third pregnancy. From the first moment the stick told me to the final moment when we get to hold our little baby. It took a year for us to concieve this little one and little did we know the things that would await us in the coming months. I found out on Dec. 9th 1999 that our miracle had happened and we would indeed be parents of another child!

Christmas 1999

Here I was 9 weeks along. I had just told my mom with a little surprise Christmas gift that we were having another baby. She was almost bawling!

Kimmy's visit Jan. 2000

This was the first time my sister Kimmy came to visit us at our house. She brought her fiance Ryan and got to stay a couple days. She brought me the pants I'm wearing especially for my pregnancy. They have a string tie waistband to expand with me as my tummy grows. :)

It wasn't long after this that I had my first scare. I started bleeding heavily and was diagnosed with Placental Abruption. That's where the placenta tries to separate early from the uterine wall. I was put on bedrest for a week and with my mom's help was able to be up and about after that. Two weeks after that I had some brown spotting for a week. After seeing the dr. I was put on light duty til it stopped. He did find the baby and everything was fine. Two weeks after that, the kids got Parvo Virus! was this a hectic 6 weeks or what?! The dr. checked the baby again and he was fine and said it was good that I was out of my first trimester and the baby had already developed all of the major organs, so things should be fine.

4 months pg

This is my first official belly picture. 4 months along and a belly definately starting to show. I'm still in my normal clothes, thank goodness, since I dont' have many winter maternity things. The picture looks awful since Robert was sitting down when he took it. Oh well, it'd been a hectic day anyway. :)

Baby's face and belly Wild guess at what that is

At 21 weeks (almost half way through my 5th month) we got to have our ultrasound and find out what we're having. He was very unmodest about it and showed us first thing who he was! We seen all the organs and that everything had developed properly and things looked great in his little apartment. :)

End of March, 2000

Yes, i finally got my 5th month picture up here! Took forever to finish that roll of film. ;) I know, i already look like I'm in the last leg of the pregnancy, but hey, it's my third and I've always looked like i was carrying twins, so oh well. ^_^ There's no doubt people can tell I'm pregnant though. lol!

6th Month

Taken at Dad's house at the end of April. the start of my 6th month! Belly's really getting out there isnt' it?! Baby is about 1 1/2 lbs and @ 8 1/2" from head to butt.

30 weeks 30 weeks and counting down!
7 months...baby's dropped now. :)

ok, not the best of pics, but you get the idea. :) The baby dropped on June 5th, not competely i dont think, but enough for me to notice the difference and my husband too. My belly button pokes out now most of the time and Gavin has been acquainting his head with my cervix a lot! Peeing every 20 minutes has become my past time once again as he crowds my bladder. ^_^ These pics were taken at my mom's.

check out that pg belly!
8 months along finally!
A much better picture

Yeah! we're at 8 months now and very excited for the next few weeks to produce the miracle into our arms we've been waiting for! :) He's still measuring great, at 32 weeks i was measuring 30 cm. so that's like my pg with katlyn, most definatly! *crossing fingers* that it keeps up that way! Updates for everything are in my Journal.

**************

Well, we're in the last month of waiting here now! I can't get over how fast the 8th month went, but I'm also glad to finally be in the final 4 weeks. I'm very ready to see our son now.

a 9 month belly, wow!

i guess the next update i'll have is right before i have the baby, or maybe in the hospital or something. but you can still read my updates in my journal. ^_^

thought i'd stick in a picture of right before i went to the hospital so you could see how much my belly exploded that last month. :)
