From the Outgoing President

            Having presided over IPMS North Brisbane for the past three years, I am stepping down at a time when the Club is enjoying its strongest membership and with prospects of even greater things to come.

          I take this opportunity to thank my executive officers and sub-committee volunteers for their selfless efforts during this time, as without you, things could never have proceeded as well as they did. I especially praise the work undertaken by Dale Slight who has maintained the Competition portfolio in a manner reflected by his own high standards of personal achievement in the modelling field and his encouragement and advice to all other modellers within the Club. Congratulations to Dale also, following his induction as Life Member of the Club at our November Meeting. 

          I believe that the Club is in good hands, with the new Executive under Craig Fowler set to take over the reins in January. In saying that, it is my hope that we continue to foster interest in the Junior ranks and to project the fun and enjoyment which we ourselves derive from our hobby. 

          I extend to all of you Seasons Greetings. Enjoy the break and have a happy and Safe time with your families and loved ones. To all of you who will venture onto the larger competition arenas throughout the coming year, every success.
