Jim Dorsett,s presence at the November meeting was a welcome site. It was great to see him at the meeting for the first time since his accident. I’m sure we all wish him a continued and speedy recovery from his injuries. Jim is the first life member of the club and one of the founding members of IPMS QLD. His support to the club has been constant since the clubs inception and it is good to see him up and about again.

At the November meeting Dale Slight was invested as a life member of IPMS North Brisbane. Dale is also one of the original founders of the club. The motion for Dale’s life membership was put forward by our outgoing President David Roach. Congratulations on the life membership Dale. Also in this edition is a letter from Dale as the outgoing Competition Secretary.

A workshop will be held on Sunday the 3rd of December

Our last meeting for the year will be on the 20th of December - a light supper provided.

Club Christmas get-together will be on Sunday 7th January 2001 at the school
