How fast do you work?

Our maximal capacity is around 100 equivalent A/A4 formats of 2D drawings per day. If you order special features it may take longer but not too much. The speed of processing depends on our current loading so usually you can expect 100 equivalent A/A4 formats in a week.

Who need this service?

There are many cases when you may need this service. Since to our extensive set of features it is always makes sence first think about this service before you start to do modeling by yourself.

Here is a list of some situations when you may need our service:

• You are working in a 3D mechanical design system (MCAD) or going to use it, and have to deal with legacy drawings
• You want completely move to 3D design environment and forget all legacy drawings problems
• You have a large archive of 2D printed or manual drawings and want to reuse them or convert them to useful parts or company soultions library
• You have a large archive of AutoCAD or printed drawings and want to reuse them in your new design process
• Your customers or partners are sending you data in 2D format
• You want to reuse you legacy data in your projects

What will I get?

It's great! Usually you receive 3D Parametric Feature-based Solid Models of parts and assemblies in your CAD system native format! Click here for list of supported CAD systems. In case you have another CAD system you can get IGES, ACIS, Parasolid, STEP (203/214) files, etc. In addition you can order VRML, STL or any other file format you choose.

Every 3D solid model comes with a report of drawing problems and mistakes evaluated during modeling. Believe us, there are always would be some. Parametric feature-based solid models come with fully defined sketches and appropriate Design Intent so they are easy to modify and reuse. In addition you can order some of our Special Features. Models comes compressed in self-extracted ZIP format (EXE), password protected.

All formats are Windows-based. UNIX, MAC or other versions of 3D models formats you can order on Special Requiest.

What are the source materials I should provide?

We accept almost everything. If your original drawings a printed on a paper or manual drawings or sketches - you have to scan them and send to us. If your drawings are in CAD system format you just send us your original CAD system files. 

The only our requirement is a proper and dimensioning. Sometimes it is impossible to make a 3D model without dimensions. 

If you can, please, remove any sensitive information from your drawings leaving only reference number. We mean product code, customer id, material, etc.

What if CAD system I use is not on your list?

First of all, contact us. We can make try to find possibility to get work done in this system as well. If not, you have to choose most appropriate 3D interchange format. You can always try to see how our models will be converted by your CAD system translator. 

What drafting standard of source drawings do you support?

The only our requirement for source materials is a parts dimensioning. Sometimes it is impossible to make a 3D model without some dimensions in source drawing. The dimensioning standard of your original drawing is not important. In case when text annotations are important we support only English language.

What are your prices?

Our prices are low and can be compared to most of on-line automatic 2D-to-3D conversion services. The prices are based on a size of original drawings with annotations.

How secure is this service?

Despite of that, you always should remember that you are sending information outside your company. Don’t rely to much on password protected files or any other Internet security features. If you have very sensitive, critical information in your drawings please don’t send it through Internet.

If you publish drawings on your web site for us to download, please make sure it is well protected. When we have downloaded files we notify you, so you can remove drawings from your web site.

What are the payment conditions?

When we finished your models we send them to you. You have to accept models during a week, in case of large orders this period is prolongated. Usually you need to assign a person who will take care of all process from your side. When you accept 3D models we send you invoice and you pay. 

Is it legal?

All software tools and CAD systems we use are properly licensed, rented or registered. You can safely use all results of our work in your porducts.
