This Brazilian based museum is run by a Bulgarian emigre, Gabriella Zitsk. Since 1962 she has been collecting and cataloguing the mail she has recieved in return to her question 'what is it you long for?' The collection is housed in her increasingly cramped apartment and has over 17,000 items to date.

Formed in 1989 and based in Montreal Canada, the Gallerie de Muse de Dump has been operating on and off for the past 12 years. It is museum practice based around the dump or dumpster. It is created for specific dumps in particular locations.

For the last three years the collective's work has been the presentation of 'spontaneous acts of overt listening in public' entitled 'listen... the world needs ears.' Most recently Dish-Vous presented a series of 'public confessionals' in the Paris metro and in several other European capitals.

Established in 1956 by Bertrand Stanton, an oral historian. This museum comprises numerous collections based on memories related to everyday artefacts and recollections of place. The collection is principally based on sound recordings sourced from around the world.
