The Monmouth Rugby Football club is proud to be sponsoring the first youth flag rugby program in Monmouth County. This program is intended for children entering 3rd to entering 8th grade. This is a coed program. Youth rugby is a “touch or flag” only non-contact form of the sport, which will teach various skills such as running, kicking, passing, space strategy and teamwork. The program is intended to offer summer fun in a competitive sport without the intense commitment and pressure of other sports. We will be running the program through the Monmouth County Parks System. Here is all the information for the program. Please contact me if you Email: valrogers@yahoo.com, home phone 732-933-0302. · Clinic to be held at the Thompson Park Rugby Field · Will meet three (3) days per week o Beginning on Tuesday, July 1st to Saturday, August 9th o Six (6) weeks (18 1 ˝ hour sessions) o Tuesday, Thursday evening (6 – 7:30pm) o Saturday Mornings (9 – 10:30am) · Age groups to include entering 3rd to entering 8th grade (Co-ed) · All registrations must go through the Monmouth County Parks System.
