Fraser is a German Shorthaired Pointer born on 17th July 1999, who came to his new home in the September of the same year. Lots of names were suggested, but Fraser Winston seemed to sit just right. (Sit right on Mason, who for a long time became Frasers' personal couch.) Fraser loves having his photo taken, which is a great thing as that's all his Mum ever does. He excels at annoying the spots off his brother Mason, but enjoys a sing-a-long with him at least once a day, usually in their bedroom downstairs so that they get the echo juuuust right. He also likes a good 'chat' with whoever will listen.
Fraser
loves water, especially the hose. He drinks with his whole head in the tub and
can chase a sprinkler for hours. He also quite likes the beach. His reflexes
were terrible when he was younger, and he couldn't catch to save himself. So we
practised, and practised and practised using bubbles. Now he can catch a
whole stream of bubbles in lightning quick time, which has also made him an
adept butterfly chaser and lizard hunter (although he doesn't catch either of
these too often). He is also the best soccer goalie we have ever seen, and
completely takes over Masons ball games. More than anything else, though, Fraser
can think of nothing better to do than just hang out with his hoomans, and is a
great help to Mum with the baby.
Fraser and Cooper are great friends, and like to share just about everything. Fraser also helped Cooper learn to sit, crawl, stand and walk, and is always more than a little proud of his little friend when he accomplishes something. Frasers' funniest 'trick' is goosing his Nanna - it was something we quickly discouraged when it began but it seems to have become a game with his Nan, probably because he loves the noise she makes! He is the big sook of the family and will snuggle and have tummy rubs for hours. He has alot to learn from Mason about pretending to be asleep on the bed, though.........
