Ordici deals out the cards to Salmissra, Kronak and himself.

"The game is Poker, Ladies and Gents."

Ordici looks at his 2 cards and grins as it reveals an Ace, King of suit. Kronak looks at his cards and folds. Salmissra looks at her cards and purrs in her sexiest voice,

"I'm in!"
Ordici looks at his cards again and then at Salmissra. He takes a gulp as he nods and turns over the flop. A 4 of clubs a 9 of Diamonds and a Queen of hearts is shown on the flop as Salmissra squeals in delight. Ordici, never one to show his emotions over a poker table looks at Salmissra and says,

"You're bluffing." Ordici looks at Salmissra again and puts 3 gold into the pot. Salmissra looks at Ordici and says,

"All In Ranger."

Ordici looks at his cards again. He looks at the gold in front of Sally and sees that he is 4 gold coins short. Ordici begins to sweat as he watches Salmissra lick her lips in anticipation of his move. Salmissra plays with her gold as Ordici looks at his gold again. With a quiver in his voice he says,

"ALL IN."
Ordici flinches as Salmissra throws down a Queen of Diamonds and a 4 of clubs. Ordici sweats as he turns over his big slick. He knows Salmissra will get his pants if he isn't careful here. Salmissra laughs a rich laugh and says,

"Why ranger. I see that You have nothing of importance."

Ordici says, "We will see woman!" As Ordici turns over the next card he suddenly smiles! "A pair of Aces to your Queens, lady."

Salmissra smiles her smile and says,"You should fold, Ranger!"

Ordici looks incredulous as he looks into the Snake Queen's eyes. "You have got to be kidding me, lady!

Salmissra just purrs "Oh but Ordici, I am telling you, you aren't going to win!"

"What do you mean? Aces to Queens!"

Salmissra laughs her throaty laugh. "My Dear boy... You are in Nyissia. And here the Queen Wins all!"

Ordici shudders in horror as he looks at all his gold on the table, "Your Majesty.. this isn't fair!!"

"Fair? Fair? Here I am Queen, young man. And if I say a pair of Queens beat Aces.. then by Issa, Queens beat Aces!"

Ordici prays to Belar for all the help he can get. "Belar, you gave me Briana, I know I have no other favors I can ask.. But please, Belar, translocate us to Drasnia now!"

Not getting his prayer answered... at least not the way he was hoping... Ordici opens his eyes and gets a great view of Salmissra's cleavage as she leans over and turns over the last card. Ordici gasps in astonishment... and lust as the Queen of Snakes licks her lips and smiles.

"Well Ranger. Another Queen. Guess you would have lost after all!"

Ordici doesn't hear her as he is starting to drool on the velvet topped table. Ordici thinks "Belar, Nedra and Mara. If I could just get a piece of that action."

Ordici watches in horror as Salmissra pulls all the gold to her pile. "It was a great game young ranger. We will have to do it again sometime" Salmissra says as she stands up, revealing her smooth legs to the young Ordici. As Salmissra's Chief Eunich escorts the mezmorized Ordici out of the throne room, Salmissra smiles at him.

"Belar, it was worth it to behold that woman's beauty." he whispers to himself as he is led out of the palace and to his waiting ship.
