RP channel logs: Delionia,
Vilandra
[RP]:
Vilandra walks irritably down the wide streets of Tol Honeth.
[RP]:
Vilandra grumbles 'I can't believe that oaf
got the better of me. I've never been swindled this bad.'
[RP]:
Delionia stares hungrily through the tinted glass window of Dryad's
Delight. "There's only one left"
she mutters to herself, "I'd better hurry."
[RP]:
(Delionia): Dedria looks up at the gentle tinkling of the bell above
her door and smiles as she recognizes her favourite customer walk
in. "The usual?" she asks.
[RP]:
Delionia nods.
[RP]:
(Delionia): Dedria grins, nodding. "It's
your lucky day you know. There's only one left."
[RP]:
Delionia sighs wearily as she slumps onto a stool by the counter.
"My lucky day? Yeah. Right."
[RP]:
Vilandra kicks a stone angrily out of her way.
[RP]:
Vilandra looks dismally at the cloudy sky. Great,
It's going to rain, she thought, Like
things couldn't get any worse.
[RP]:
Vilandra sighed and continued walking, staring intently at the cement
street. Czrel would laugh at me if he found
out, she thought again. He'll probably
wonder what the hell he was thinking when he asked me to join him
as a merchant.
[RP]:
Vilandra absentmindedly turned around the corner into Nedra Lane.
[RP]:
Delionia sighs again. "I had the worst
day ever" she mutters to her friend. "Work
was awful, and it looks like it's going to rain as well."
[RP]:
Delionia pouts.
[RP]:
(Delionia): Dedria clicks her tongue sympathetically. "Well
anyway, this fudge ought to cheer you up I reckon. That will be
five silver Delionia dear." she says handing a wrapped
package over the counter top.
[RP]:
Delionia takes the package with a wan smile. Thanking her friend,
she pushes open the door and steps out onto the overcast Tol Honeth
street, already beginning to unwrap the fudge bar.
[RP]:
Vilandra walked on ahead, not noticing the large sign of Dedria's
chocolate shop before her and the stranger stepping out of it.
[RP]:
(Vilandra): The stranger was walking forward, looking intently at
something in her hand.
[RP]:
(Vilandra): Vilandra, still intent on the ground, walked right into
the person in front of her, causing her to drop her possession.
[RP]:
(Vilandra): The stranger looked up angrily, her pale blue eyes flashing,
Watch where you're- but she broke off with a cry, My
fudge!
[RP]:
Vilandra says 'Oh, I'm sorry, I wasn't looking.'
[RP]:
Delionia stares in disbelief at the remnants of her delicious creamy
chocolate bar lying in the slush of Nedra lane. She half turns to
reenter the shop and get another bar when she remembers it was the
last one there.
[RP]:
Delionia screeches "You weren't looking?
YOU WEREN’T LOOKING?!"
[RP]:
Vilandra looks taken aback. Whoa, one moment
a kitten and then next a tigress. She thought.
[RP]:
Vilandra says 'Hey, I said I was sorry. There's
no need to get worked up. It's only some chocolate.'
[RP]:
Delionia clenches her fists angrily. It wasn't usually like her,
she knew, to be so childish over such a trivial matter, but all
the frustrations of her day just seemed to come crashing down on
her and this careless Nadrak provided a perfect vent for them.
[RP]:
Delionia fumes 'That's not the point!'
[RP]:
Vilandra sighs.
[RP]:
Vilandra says 'All right, I'll buy you another
OK?' Hopefully that'll shut her up, she thought. Worse than
rain is a whining Rivan.
[RP]:
Delionia flares 'Don't try to patronize me.
Anyway that was the last one and you ruined it for me.'
[RP]:
Vilandra rolls her eyes, disgusted.
[RP]:
Delionia screams 'Thanks a lot. That was just
the perfect ending to this day.'
[RP]:
Vilandra snaps 'Yeah? Well all I needed was
a crybaby sobbing about her lost chocolate to make my day fantastic.'
[RP]:
Vilandra mutters something quietly to herself.
[RP]:
Delionia snaps 'What was that?'
[RP]:
Vilandra says 'Nothing.' She shook
her head in irritation.
[RP]:
Delionia sighs to herself. There was really no point in this anymore.
[RP]:
Delionia glares icily at the dark haired Nadrak, shoves past her
and stalks off down the lane.
[RP]:
Vilandra pushes her hair back into its place and walks on. People
in this world can be seriously conked sometimes. she thought, and
then shrugged and kept walking, drifting back into her thoughts
again.
