RP channel logs: Grien, Czrel

[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): Dawn broke. A fog hung over the roads of Boktor.
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): A hooded figure shuffles across the dew-drenched street.
[RP]: Grien mutters 'Why did i have to buy the house so far from work?'
[RP]: Grien starts walking to work without the usual bounce in his step.
[RP]: (Grien): Grien worked at the Salty Dog as a bouncer when he was on leave.
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): A column of smoke rises from the far end of town.
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): Anacondas begin to slither along the streets.
[RP]: Grien says 'Oh Nedra, not another fire...'
[RP]: Grien starts running to the tavern.
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): The huge snakes follow Grien into the bar.
[RP]: (Grien): Upon reaching the door, Grien noticed it was not the bar on fire this time, but the house to the east.
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): The snakes curiously hiss at the confused man.
[RP]: Grien decided to go check out the burning building.
[RP]: (Grien): Hearing a strange sound behind him, Grien loosed his sword in its Sheath.
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): A horde of giant snakes close in upon the swordsman!
[RP]: (Grien): Slowly he continued towards the house.
[RP]: (Grien): realizing that he would be the first to the scene, his saunter became a dead sprint.
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): One of the snakes bite Grien.
[RP]: Grien reached the door just as he is bitten by something.
[RP]: (Grien): turned to see two large snakes behind him.
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): Two? He was wrong! It was twenty!
[RP]: Grien looked at the first snake, the one that bit him and started chopping.
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): The first snake ducks!
[RP]: (Grien): Off went the head of one of the snakes.
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): But in came nineteen more!
[RP]: Grien realizing that he had limited time, dashed into the house and started searching for survivors
[RP]: Grien remembered there were snakes behind him and slammed the door shut.
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): The ceiling crashed down with more anacondas.
[RP]: Grien bellowed 'Hello!'
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): Oddly, the entire vicinity began to raze in fire and slither with reptiles.
[RP]: Grien says 'is anybody in here?'
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): A small voice calls out somewhere at the back of the house.
[RP]: Grien yelled 'I can hear you, here are you?'
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): The small voice called out again, but this time heavy coughs accompanied it.
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): The thick black smog becomes unbearable.
[RP]: Grien started searching for a way to the back of the house and noticed the hallway was half destroyed by the collapsing house.
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): Not to mention snakes.
[RP]: Grien managed to squeeze his way through the snakes and debris towards the voice.
[RP]: Grien yelled again 'Where are you?'
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): 'Help.. me.. ' The small voice called out again.
[RP]: (Grien): 'Where are you little one?'
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): 'I'm.. trapped,' the little one coughed. 'I can't.. move.. my legs..'
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): A wall collapsed.
[RP]: (Grien): the voice was coming from Grien's right
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): Another wall collapsed.
[RP]: Grien moved towards the voice to find a door.
[RP]: (Grien): One swift kick and the door was down.
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): 'Help.. '
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): The little voice coughed.
[RP]: Grien says 'Im here, I can't see you yet, but I'm here.'
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): 'The.. smoke,' Grien heard coughing.
[RP]: Grien started to move the fallen furniture to find the source of the voice.
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): The coughs began to become violent.
[RP]: Grien moved another bookcase to find a small boy trapped.
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): While the ceiling raged with an orange hue and the snakes slithered carelessly.
[RP]: Grien says 'I found you little one.'
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): Too weak to smile, the young boy fell limp.
[RP]: (Grien): Noticing that the boy was stuck under a flaming china hutch, Grien felt time ticking by.
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): Huge beads of sweat formed on both their foreheads.
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): Huge.
[RP]: (Grien): Gathering all his strength, he reached down and pulled the hutch up so the boy could crawl out.
[RP]: Grien says 'Quickly little one.'
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): The boy did not respond.
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): His blonde hair ruffled with panic.
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): The heat threatens to consume both of them by the second.
[RP]: (Grien): With a huge surge of strength Grien pushed the hutch aside.
[RP]: Grien reached down and scooped up the boy, slinging him over his shoulder.
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): The boy hung motionless.
[RP]: Grien turned to look for a way to get out of the house, noticing a window.
[RP]: (Grien): At full speed he ran towards the window, with a huge leap he crashed through.
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): The splinters fell all over him and the boy.
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): Streaks of blood formed.
[RP]: Grien landed on something mushy and slimy.
[RP]: Grien looked under him to find more snakes.
[RP]: Grien says 'Snakes?! Why does it always have to be snakes?'
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): Not bothered by him, the snakes slithered along.
[RP]: Grien ran the boy to the Salty Dog, looking to the barmaid for help.
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): Unluckily, the barmaid perished in the fire, her body fused to a crisp.
[RP]: (Grien): The Owner's face blanched as he saw Grien run into the tavern.
[RP]: Grien says 'The house next door is on fire!'
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): 'My house is full of.. Pythons!' The owner exclaimed.
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): 'Help me Grien!' The owner screamed.
[RP]: Grien says 'I have to help this child first.'
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): But it was too late! A huge snake crawled behind him and constricted him.
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): The sound of cracking bones like death's hymn.
[RP]: Grien laid the boy down, and unsheathed his sword.
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): The huge python unwound itself and charged towards Grien!
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): The limp body of the tavern owner fell limply over.
[RP]: Grien swung his sword at the base of the snake's head.
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): The Anaconda darted back to avoid the steely blade.
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): With lightning reflexes, it rebound and tried to bite Grien!
[RP]: Grien backed up in a defensive stance.
[RP]: Grien deflected the snake's bite easily enough.
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): Angered at its failed attempt, the Anaconda drew the distance apart.
[RP]: Grien raised his sword, going for a kill shot. Began to run at full speed towards the reptile.
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): Agile like a squirrel, the enormous Anaconda dodged the blade and went for the dying boy!
[RP]: (Grien): Noticing the snakes intent, drew his dagger wielding it with his off hand and stepped between the snake and the child.
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): But it was a tat too late! With a mighty swoop, the Anaconda picked the boy up by its fearsome jaws.
[RP]: Grien swung his sword at the snakes neck, cleaving the head right off.
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): Blood squirted everywhere.
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): A myriad of crimson and maroon.
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): The boy, completely covered in red warm blood.
[RP]: Grien tried to cover his eyes.
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): The morning sun peeked into Grien's room.
[RP]: Grien awoke groggily, noticing he was not covered in snake blood, but just sweat.
[RP]: (Grien): looked around for the child.
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): A little boy was tugging at his sleeve.
[RP]: Grien looked around for the child.
[RP]: Grien says 'Yes??'
[RP]: (Merchant Czrel): The boy smiled. Then with a sudden jerk, he bared his fangs at Grien, who promptly passed out.
