RP channel logs: Hafwen, Ordici

[RP]: Ordici Rhellan makes his way to the Captain of the Cherek War boat and extends his arm.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan says 'I would like to thank you for teaching me the game of dice. It has really taken my thoughts off of my poor dear mother.'
[RP]: (Ordici Rhellan): The Captain glares hard at Ordici and says nothing.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan says 'Really, Captian. I never knew that playing dice was so much fun! And look, here we are in Camaar already!'
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan looks around the ship and smiles beautifically.
[RP]: (Ordici Rhellan): The Captain mumbles something under his breath and looks out t'words the Aft.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan says 'I guess I should really return some of this gold that I won. Seeing as to how you were teaching me the game.'
[RP]: (Ordici Rhellan): The Captains face lights up and he is about to speak when Ordici cuts him off.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan says 'But, I know you are a man of honor Captain. All the talk around Cherek was "Captain Greldek is the most honest man on the seas." So I know someone of your repute wouldn't want me to give the gold back.'
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan sighs in mock sympathy as the Captain's face falls into a painful looking expression.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan whispers 'I really hope your crew doesn't gut you when they find out I own all the gold in the treasure box.'
[RP]: (Ordici Rhellan): The Captain coughs a couple of times and looks to be changing a fair shade of green.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan says 'I really must be off Captain. Take care when next you go through the Boar. I swear, this ship shuddered like it was about to break a keel.'
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan chuckles as he makes his way down the gangplank. Not turning to look back he walks into the city of Camaar and goes straight to the Adventurers clan hall.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan makes his way to the bridge at the Adventurers hall and stops for the Retired Adventurer.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan Adventurer: You do not belong here son..... Ordici??? Is it really you?
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan says 'chuckle '
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan says 'Yes, I have returned, my friend. Tell me is Lord Wylset in right now. I need to see him about something.'
[RP]: (Ordici Rhellan): Adventurer: Alas young Ordici, but Wylset no longer is the Lord here. He has moved on to herd the sheep as it were. I could see if the Sha-Dar Gares is available to see you though.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan gasps in astonishment.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan takes control of himself.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan stutters 'Yeah.. sure... Gares would do just fine.'
[RP]: (Ordici Rhellan): Adventurer: Go ahead and wait in the lounge then, young Ordici. I am sure you remember the way?
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan nods.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan says 'I can find it Old timer, thank you for your help'
[RP]: (Ordici Rhellan): The guard enters the Adventurers lounge and says Sorry Ordi, but the Sha-Dar is too busy to see you at this time. Would you like to set up an appointment?
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan shake
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan shakes his head.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan says 'That is ok Old timer, just let Gares...errr I mean the Sha-Dar that I will be back at some future date. I was just passing through town.'
[RP]: (Ordici Rhellan): The old timer shakes nods at Ordici in agreement then says Then please, enjoy your stay in town.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan Shakes arms with the Retired Adventurer and then takes his leave of the Adventurer's clan hall. Heading out t'words the north gate.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan thinks 'Dang, I know I was just here not to long ago. But the changes here seem to have happened over night.'
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan goes to the stables and buys himself a poor looking nag.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan thinks 'At least it beats walking.'
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan Saddles his mount and heads out the North gate taking the road to Sendar.
[RP]: (Ordici Rhellan): The sun begins to fade towards the west and night time is soon approaching. Going off the road into a clear space behind a thicket, Ordici begins to set up his camp.
[RP]: (Ordici Rhellan): Muttering something under his breath, Ordici finds two branches and begins to rub them together. Soon a small fire is started and Ordici sighs in relief.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan mutters 'Ok, now time for bed. I hope I get to Sendar quicker tomorrow.'
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan looks at the nag and shakes his head in despair.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan mutters 'Not on that old nag.'
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan sighs.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan thinks 'Well, it beats walking.'
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan rolls over and looks up at the quickly darkening sky.
[RP]: Hafwen Eroenyth squints up at the twilight sky. Stars have begun to peek from behind the dark curtain of night.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan sighs as the peaceful ness of true night begins to decend upon Midkemia.
[RP]: Hafwen Eroenyth whistles a soft tune as she scouts for a place to camp. Sendar can't be more than another day away, and she is anxious to get home.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan hears some whistling coming from the other side of the bushes, and winces as the tune goes Off key.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan thinks 'Ouch, that person could really use some lessons.'
[RP]: Hafwen Eroenyth curses softly as she stumbles over an errant tree root. Darkness has settled in quickly. She stops to get her bearings.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan silently draws his boot dagger and takes a defensive positions in the shadow of an elm.
[RP]: Hafwen Eroenyth mutters something under her breath as she looks for, and fails to find, a path through the bushes. She glares at them menacingly before forcing her way through. She bursts through, startled, into the clearing on the other side.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan sees a shadowy form break through the bushes and grits his teeth, his knuckles turning white as he grips his dagger more tightly.
[RP]: Hafwen Eroenyth glances around briefly while brushing shrub pieces off her tunic. The fact that the clearing has obviously been recently vacated hasn't quite caught her attention yet.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan shakes a little nervously, looking at the shadowy outline and begins to even out his breathing.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan thinks 'Not again. How do they keep finding me?'
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan feels a calm come over himself as he is preparing to commit to his attack.
[RP]: Hafwen Eroenyth blinks and looks around. The makings of a campfire, the trampled grass. Her eyes narrow and she is suddenly alert. Inwardly kicking herself for not paying attention, she lays a hand on her dagger sheath and takes a closer look around her.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan stays back in the shadows awaiting the opportunity he will need to kill this trespasser in his domain.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan thinks 'This time I will send the corpse of his henchman back to him piece by peice, in serveral burlap sacks.'
[RP]: Hafwen Eroenyth is puzzled. If someone had been here as recently as the scene suggested, she would have stumbled into them. The fact that no one is here leads her to believe that the person had heard her coming and is either gone, or lying in wait.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan throws his voice to the other side of the camp. Who ye be, to come into my camp?
[RP]: Hafwen Eroenyth looks up, startled. The voice had come from in front of her. Her eyes narrow and she carefully inspects the treeline. Unless her perfect vision is failing, she sees no one. Carefully, she draws her dagger from its sheath and focuses most of her attent
[RP]: (Hafwen Eroenyth): ion behind her.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan throws his voice again to the other side of camp. Put the blade down. I asked you a question. Now answer, or taste my arrow.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan 's body is tense as his muscles prepare for an attack.
[RP]: Hafwen Eroenyth turns in a slow circle, her dagger still drawn. I mean no harm. If this be your camp, I am more than willing to find another. Her voice is quiet, non-threatening, but she is tense and ready for anything.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan throws his voice to the other side of camp. Ahhh, but this be my camp. Perhaps I will share it. If you can answer me one question.
[RP]: Hafwen Eroenyth raises an eyebrow. He isn't fooling anyone. She is almost amused, but not quite ready to throw caution to the wind. Ask, then.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan throws his voice to the other side of the camp How much did Ctuchik pay you to die?
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan springs to life jumping at the form of the person in his camp, his dagger swinging in a midlevel motion.
[RP]: Hafwen Eroenyth doesn't have time to process the question. She turns and steps to the side, her own dagger coming up not to attack, but to deflect the oncoming blow.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan gasps as his blade meets that of the stranger. Hitting the ground low, he kicks out trying to sweep her off her feet.
[RP]: Hafwen Eroenyth steps a fraction of a second too late and hits the ground hard as her feet are swept out from under her. She utters some rather unladylike things as her dagger skids across the clearing.
[RP]: Hafwen Eroenyth rolls to one side, attempting to use her body to knock her attacker's feet out from under him, her other hand reaching for her dagger.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan hits the ground hard, his blade landing and sticking in the dirt. Rolling to one side he comes up grabs the leg of the stranger, attempting to pull them back from their own dagger.
[RP]: Hafwen Eroenyth growls and, barely, reaches her dagger. She rolls and kicks at her attacker, bringing her dagger up at the same time and thrusting at his midsection.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan gasps as something rips across his stomache. Blocking another swing from the blade by hitting the arm of the stranger he flips them on their back and jumps back in a defensive position.
[RP]: Hafwen Eroenyth rolls as she is flung to her back and uses the motion to bring herself back to her feet. Her stance is defensive, and she takes a quick second to look at her attacker in the dim light from the fire.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan thinks 'I hope this assassin doesn't believe in the advantages of the Nyssian home remidies.'
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan is sweating hard now and looks to be a little feverish. In the firelight his face glows red and he winces a little as he checks the wound on his stomache.
[RP]: Hafwen Eroenyth waits patiently. She actually feels bad for cutting him, but he had attacked her first, so she's not very concerned. If you'd like, we can call it a draw and I can be on my way. She takes a step back, ready to bolt into the trees.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan thinks things over as he kicks dirt at the face of the stranger, blinding them long enough for him to disarm them with a kick to the hand.
[RP]: Hafwen Eroenyth curses and rolls drops to the ground, her ears picking up where her eyes can no longer function. She rolls away from the sound of his breathing, and in the direction her dagger had fallen.
[RP]: Hafwen Eroenyth grins as her hand closes on her dagger hilt. She backs from her attacker in a crouch, her free hand feeling for the treeline as her ears track his movements.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan throws his voice behind the stranger You made me bleed my own blood stranger. Perhaps you should give me your name, So I can send Ctuchick the name of the first of his henchmen to cut me.
[RP]: Hafwen Eroenyth rolls her dirt-blinded eyes. You're not fooling anyone. I can hear you breathing. She picks up a rock and throws it at him. I'm afraid I don't know any Ctuchik. As for my name, you'll have to give me a reason to trust you enough to share it.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan sighs and answers Mate, I have three men with bows pointed at you right now. If you do not answer my question, they will let fly.
[RP]: Hafwen Eroenyth barely contains her laughter. You've no one else. She resists the urge to wipe at her eyes. She can keep track of him well enough with her ears. You attacked me, not the other way around, you know.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan sighs.
[RP]: Ordici Rhellan shouts over his shoulder Let her have it boys. She has earned her death! then throws three sharp rocks at her.
