RP channel logs: Akriados,
Krystophan, Ordici, Traveset
[RP]:
(Ordici): Ordici walks into the dockside tavern out of a blowing
gale. Looking around the dingy room Ordici spots a man he thought
he would never see again.
[RP]:
Ordici says 'Akriados, is that you ya pirate?'
[RP]:
Akriados says 'I am not a pirate ya loon.'
[RP]:
Ordici says 'Akriados, it's just an expression
man!'
[RP]:
Akriados nods towards Ordici and then towards a table in the far
corner of the tavern. 'Welcome young Ordici
please join me for a drink.'
[RP]:
Ordici grins evilly at Akriados.
[RP]:
Ordici says 'Sure!! Maochro isn't around,
is he? He would slap me in the head if he caught me drinking.'
[RP]:
Ordici joins Akriados at his table, pulls out a chair as Akriados
orders another round for himself and his friend.
[RP]:
Ordici says 'So what have ya been up to?'
[RP]:
Akriados sets down his Crook and joins Ordici at the table, taking
a long draft of his mead. 'Well I've been
resting mostly, after that gruesome fight with Zargosh.'
[RP]:
(Ordici): The waitress arrives with the steins and places them accordingly.
She shyly smiles at Ordici as she takes the money off the table.
[RP]:
Akriados says 'So my friend what brings you
around these parts?'
[RP]:
Ordici says 'Heard a little about that. What
happened anyways? I heard you took him to town.'
[RP]:
Akriados says 'Well if I must then I shall
tell you.'
[RP]:
Ordici says 'Oh you know. Just decided to
see the ocean one more time.'
[RP]:
Ordici says 'Now tell me your story.'
[RP]:
Ordici drinks his ale and smiles.
[RP]:
Akriados says 'Well I was expecting a visit
from a dear friend Jhelya. We were discussing some issues when Zargosh
and Corela decided to pick a fight, and is was a big one I tell
ya. I came out of it with some burns, but Zargosh has a wound on
his hand to remember me.'
[RP]:
Ordici says 'Is Jhelya ok? She is a friend
of mine you know. We are in the Adventurers together.'
[RP]:
Akriados says 'All is well, she has made a
full and is off on her own quests.'
[RP]:
Ordici says 'Darn I missed her. She was supposed
to meet me a week ago and never showed. Now I know why.'
[RP]:
Ordici sighs.
[RP]:
Akriados chuckles. 'Yes, it was a fight for
the ages, but I have not heard from her. She must have left town.'
[RP]:
Ordici says 'Darn. Know which way she went?
I really should try to follow her.'
[RP]:
Akriados says 'I'm not sure let's have a stroll
shall we.'
[RP]:
(Krystophan): All of a sudden the tavern door flies open, crashing
into the wall as a large form fills the doorway. A flash of lighting
from outside reveals a tall man clad in burnished armour.
[RP]:
(Krystophan): Glancing at the patrons, he slowly walks to the bar
to have a few words with the innkeep. After a few moments of conversation,
the innkeeper points toward Ordici and Akriados at a table near
by.
[RP]:
Ordici whispers to Akriados 'Now what's going
on?'
[RP]:
(Krystophan): With a look of hesitation, the knight slowly walks
toward their table, his eyes always looking for trouble.
[RP]:
Akriados shrugs his shoulders.
[RP]:
Ordici looks into the knight's eyes.
[RP]:
Ordici says 'What can I do fer ya mate? Long
way from the fields, ain't ya?'
[RP]:
Krystophan glares at the young upstart.
[RP]:
Ordici stands and clears his sword.
[RP]:
Akriados says 'Forgive the young one, how
may I help you Knight?'
[RP]:
Krystophan says 'I request thy help in some
small matter.'
[RP]:
Ordici says 'Oh no. 'Theeing' and 'thou'ing.
What is wrong with ya, Sir Matee?'
[RP]:
Krystophan ignores the young fool.
[RP]:
Akriados smacks Ordici over the head to stay quiet.
[RP]:
Krystophan says 'I have been told that one
such as yourself helps those who art in trouble?'
[RP]:
Ordici glares at Krystophan.
[RP]:
Ordici shakes his head.
[RP]:
Akriados says 'T'is my duty as a shepherd.'
[RP]:
Akriados says 'Please tell me what I can do
to help you?'
[RP]:
Krystophan says 'Earlier this evening, some
foul ruffian has made off with my trusted steed.'
[RP]:
Akriados says 'I see, let us go search for
your stead then.'
[RP]:
Ordici says 'Are you sure you want to, Akriados?
This metal-encased lunatic insulted me!'
[RP]:
Krystophan says 'Mine thought was to blame
this scrubby boy with whom you sit, but as I see he is your companion,
he must not have stolen mine horse.'
[RP]:
Akriados says 'No, Ordici my be a ruffian,
but his heart is in the right place.'
[RP]:
Akriados says 'Quiet, young Ordici.'
[RP]:
Ordici says 'Steal your horse! Man, you must
be out of your mind. I ain't gonna steal your horse and run away
from your tin pot smell for days!'
[RP]:
Krystophan says 'Respect thy elders, boy,
or a smacked bottom may be the least of thy worries.'
[RP]:
Ordici says 'You would have to catch me first.
And in that get-up, t'will would be hard Sir Knight!'
[RP]:
Krystophan says 'Mine name is Sir Krystophan.'
[RP]:
Akriados says 'Please ignore such comments
from the young one, shall we go search for your horse?'
[RP]:
Akriados says 'Nice to meet you Sir Krystophan.'
[RP]:
Ordici says 'Can I come too? You might need
reliable backup.'
[RP]:
Krystophan says 'Heir to the barony of Vo
Kriederin.'
[RP]:
Akriados leaves a few coins on the table and leads Ordici and Sir
Krystophan out of the tavern and into town.
[RP]:
Akriados says 'Yes, you may come young one,
but do try to behave.'
[RP]:
Ordici says 'So, what did this horse look
like Sir Krystophan?'
[RP]:
Krystophan says 'He is a mighty stallion,
tall in stature, a true bred warhorse.'
[RP]:
Ordici says 'And you think it would let ME
lead him off! I am not that nuts!'
[RP]:
Krystophan says 'All in white he is, with
a smattering of black spots along his head.'
[RP]:
Akriados says 'I see, should not be to hard
to spot.'
[RP]:
Ordici says 'Hey is that it? No it has a black
spot on it's rump.'
[RP]:
Krystophan says 'I am new to this town, so
would ask that you lead on.'
[RP]:
Ordici says 'Don't worry, Akriados can find
anything. He is great at this.'
[RP]:
Akriados leads them further into the town, and as they turn they
see a shady looking tavern almost hidden from view.
[RP]:
Krystophan glances around the courtyard, then sees a large horse
tethered outside.
[RP]:
Krystophan points toward the horse.
[RP]:
Krystophan says 'There is my stallion!'
[RP]:
Ordici says 'That horse? That is all black!'
[RP]:
Krystophan says 'Ah my young friend. Just
because the horse seemith dark, does not mean it truly is.'
[RP]:
Ordici says 'Huh? Say that again? Seemeths
Dark? You insulting me Sir Knight?'
[RP]:
Krystophan walks toward the horse and runs his hand along its flank,
watching as black coal dust falls to the ground revealing gleaming
white.
[RP]:
Ordici says 'Hey. That is a neat trick. How
did you do that?'
[RP]:
Krystophan says 'Even in the blackest of night,
mine horse is always known to me.'
[RP]:
Krystophan says 'The ruffian whom stole him
from me must be inside. Follow me mine companions, and let justice
be served!'
[RP]:
Ordici pulls his short sword, searching the street for any danget
as Sir Krysophan enters the tavern.
[RP]:
Krystophan moves quickly towards the door, crashing through it and
into the dingy tavern.
[RP]:
Akriados says 'Well, if he must.'
[RP]:
(Krystophan): Loud curses and crashes are heard from inside, with
the breaking of glass in the background.
[RP]:
Ordici stares into the window and sees someone hitting Krystophan.
[RP]:
(Ordici): Another patron picks up a chair and beats another patron
over the back with it.
[RP]:
(Krystophan): Krystophan wades through the ruffians with ease, throwing
them about like apples in an orchard.
[RP]:
Krystophan sees a sneaky fellow sliding towards the back door. With
a battle roar, he charges toward him.
[RP]:
Traveset sneaks out a side door on his hands and knees.
[RP]:
Krystophan crashes through the door after the thief, only to find
the room completely empty.
[RP]:
Traveset says 'I sure am lucky, now I'm glad
I noticed this door.'
[RP]:
Ordici says 'I wouldn't count on that ya scum.'
[RP]:
Ordici holds the point of his short sword to the throat of the thief
and yells 'I got one!'
[RP]:
(Krystophan): With a confused look, Krystophan walks back into the
tavern, only to notice that it has completely cleared out.
[RP]:
Traveset says 'What are you going to do you
little brat?'
[RP]:
Ordici says 'Why I am saving the day!'
[RP]:
Ordici holds his sword up in the air as he hoots. Just then, the
thief gets Ordici by the arm and throws him to the ground.
[RP]:
Krystophan walks back outside, looking for his companions.
[RP]:
Akriados pulls out his dagger and puts it to his throat. 'Now
you pay!'
[RP]:
Ordici sighs Akriados. 'What took you so long?
He almost killed me!'
[RP]:
Akriados says 'Go Ordici, gather the knight.'
[RP]:
Traveset notices another blade and freezes as the two people talk
like nothing is going on.
[RP]:
Krystophan begins to clean off his horse, wondering where his companions
ran off too.
[RP]:
Ordici runs around the building shouting 'Sir
Puff-n-stuff. Sir Puff-n-stuff. We got him!'
[RP]:
Krystophan looks over his shoulder at the boy running towards him.
[RP]:
Krystophan says 'Mine name is Sir Krystophan.
Get it right before thy face meets the mud.'
[RP]:
Ordici says 'Yeah that too. We got him.'
[RP]:
Krystophan says 'The thief? Well where is
he?'
[RP]:
Akriados throws the thief into ground. 'Now,
give me thy name thief?'
[RP]:
Ordici leads Sir Krystophan to the thief.
[RP]:
Traveset says 'My name is Traveset.'
[RP]:
Ordici says 'You wear a uniform. Where you
from?'
[RP]:
Traveset says 'I'm of the Angarak Army.'
[RP]:
Krystophan glares at the thief, his hand resting on his sword hilt.
[RP]:
Ordici tries to hold Akriados' dagger arm as Akriados approaches
Traveset
[RP]:
(Akriados): In a sudden burst of anger, Akriados spits on the thief.
[RP]:
Akriados says 'Ahh, yes I do owe your master
a beating, he is the reason for my scars!'
[RP]:
Ordici says 'See Sir Stumpy? I told you Akriados
would find him.'
[RP]:
(Krystophan): With a quick lunge, the thief tackles Ordici, knocking
him out cold in the mud. Before he has a chance to move, Sir Krystophan,
kicks his feet out from under him, his sword in his hand, the tip
pressed against the thief's throat.
[RP]:
Krystophan says 'From where didst you find
my steed filthy Murgo?'
[RP]:
Krystophan says 'The coal dust under thy nails
dost speak of your involvement in its theft.'
[RP]:
Traveset says 'I didn't find it, it found
me. It followed me.'
[RP]:
Krystophan presses his sword point harder, drawing a prick of blood.
[RP]:
Krystophan says 'Don't lie to me scum!'
[RP]:
Krystophan says 'Answer mine question, or
I shalt end thy life here and now.'
[RP]:
Akriados says 'No, knight we can't kill this
man, he must deliver a message.'
[RP]:
Ordici wakes up groggily.
[RP]:
Akriados says 'We have your horse returned
now I have revenge in mind.'
[RP]:
Ordici says 'What happened?'
[RP]:
Krystophan says 'I think not. He shalt answer
my question, then be brought to the magistrate for his punishment.'
[RP]:
Traveset gulps loudly and then says I have already answered your
question.
[RP]:
Krystophan says 'Justice must be done.'
[RP]:
Ordici says 'Hey we helped you out. You do
as Akriados says!'
[RP]:
Akriados says 'NO! He must live as a messenger
for me.'
[RP]:
Krystophan backhands Ordici as he tries to stand, throwing him back
into the mud puddle.
[RP]:
Ordici says 'Let him run his message. I am
sure his Master will kill him for bringing it.'
[RP]:
Ordici says 'Hey!!!'
[RP]:
Krystophan says 'Mind your tongue boy!'
[RP]:
Traveset says 'I'll kill you all before I
serve you!'
[RP]:
Ordici starts pounding harmlessly on the armour of Sir Krystophan.
[RP]:
Ordici says 'I'll get you for that!'
[RP]:
Akriados says 'Do not attack my friend knight!
Now let 'em handle business as it must be.'
[RP]:
Krystophan pushes Ordici away.
[RP]:
Slowly, Ordici looks at Krystophan, chews his cud, and muh-OOOOs!
[RP]:
Krystophan looks at Akriados, then slowly eases his sword back slightly.
[RP]:
Krystophan says 'Give him your message if
you must.'
[RP]:
Akriados says 'As I will.'
[RP]:
Akriados says 'Now listen here, servant of
Zargosh. You will let your master know that Akriados will pay him
a visit, and return thy scars once placed upon me.'
[RP]:
Akriados says 'Now let him go knight.'
[RP]:
Krystophan quickly sheaths his sword, kicking the Murgo scum away.
[RP]:
Ordici picks up his sword from the ground and stares at Sir Krystophan.
[RP]:
Krystophan says 'Begone evil one. I shalt
remember thee, and I prayest that thou dost not cross mine eyes
again.'
[RP]:
Traveset gets to his feet and brushes himself off and stares down
the alley as the three men walk away.
[RP]:
Ordici says 'Well I am going to go catch up
with Jhelya. I will see you later Akriados. Sir Knight, it was a
pleasure to serve you.'
[RP]:
Krystophan says 'Thou might one day be a pleasant
travelling companion boy, if thou wouldst watch thy mouth more often.'
[RP]:
Ordici says 'Huh, Like I want to be around
you smelling like a pot one day. But should you ever need anything
look me up. You are great in a fight.'
[RP]:
Krystophan says 'As one day thou might be
as well.'
[RP]:
Traveset quickly throws his dagger down the alley after them, narrowly
missing one of them by the neck. As he turns around, grinning, he
walks down the alley to the opposite end rather faster then normal.
[RP]:
Ordici blushes as he sees Krystophan here.
[RP]:
Ordici waves as he walks towards the town gate.
[RP]:
(Akriados): With the quickness as though being chased by Belar himself,
the thief runs.
[RP]:
Akriados says 'Goodbye friend knight, remember
if anything be needed ask for a Shepherd.'
[RP]:
Krystophan says 'I shall my friend. I am grateful
for thy help this night.'
[RP]:
(Krystophan): Mounts his horse and continues on his way, wondering
if one day he shall meet up with the two companions once again.
[RP]:
Akriados says 'Well, young one shall we gather
ourselves and be on our way?'
[RP]:
Ordici says 'Yeah Akriados. I got to look
for Jhelya. See ya.'
[RP]:
Ordici runs out the town gate without a care in the world.
[RP]:
(Akriados): With a last look back into the town. Akriados mounts
his horse and exits the town's gates. 'What
a day it has been.'
