RP channel logs: Akriados, Reidia

[RP]: Reidia Daylan was in a pensive mood.
[RP]: (Reidia Daylan): Reidia had been riding through Drasnia. It was raining and she was leagues from Camarr. There was a warm bed and dry clothes and her friends and husband.
[RP]: Reidia Daylan mutters 'This is just great. Stupid Floyd.'
[RP]: Reidia Daylan sees a village in the distance. She urges her horse into a brisk canter.
[RP]: Reidia Daylan shakes out her cloak as she dismounts Lily, her horse and approaches the inn's village.
[RP]: Reidia Daylan opens the door to the inn. It is warm and cosy. As she approaches the innkeeper, she says 'A room for the night please.'
[RP]: (Reidia Daylan): The innkeeper eyes her up and down and them hands her an iron key.
[RP]: Reidia Daylan hands the innkeeper some coins and walks to the room she was given.
[RP]: (Reidia Daylan): Reidia notices the room is stuffy. She opens up a window to let in some fresh air.
[RP]: (Reidia Daylan): In a few minutes Reidia has her wet clothes hanging around the room and is curled in the bed drifting off to sleep.....
[RP]: Reidia Daylan wakes suddenly to the sound of swordplay in the street below.
[RP]: (Reidia Daylan): Hurriedly dressing in her spare clothes, Reidia grabs her dagger and races outside. There she sees a man fighting off 2 bandits with a large Shepherd's crook.
[RP]: Akriados says 'Help, anyone!'
[RP]: Akriados continues to fight off the two bandits using his Shepherd's Crook.
[RP]: Reidia Daylan runs to the nearest bandit and slashes him deeply.
[RP]: Akriados, seeing this as an opening, focuses on the remaining bandit and utters an incantation. The bandit becomes confused and faints.
[RP]: Reidia Daylan's backstab renders the man mortally wounded. She removes her dagger to slash at him again.
[RP]: (Akriados): The man falls to the ground DEAD.
[RP]: (Reidia Daylan): Her opponent falls to the ground dead.
[RP]: Akriados says 'Thank you dearly ma'am, i do not know what would have happened if you have not showed up.'
[RP]: Reidia Daylan lifts up her lantern to look at this...Shepherd. 'T'is not a problem. That's what I'm here for.'
[RP]: Akriados says 'If we can find a safe spot to rest and talk I shall tell you my story.'
[RP]: Reidia Daylan says 'Well, I am staying in the inn right there I'm sure they have another room.'
[RP]: Reidia Daylan beckons for him to follow her.
[RP]: Akriados follows the women into the inn and hands the inn keeper a stack of silver, purchasing a room.
[RP]: (Reidia Daylan): As the two enter the inn, Reidia sees her new companion. He is a young, thin Rivan with long dark hair. What is most noticeable is his Shepherd's cloak and crook.
[RP]: (Akriados): They walk silently into the room and sit at a table.
[RP]: Akriados says 'I see you eying my outfit. As you might have assumed I am a Shepherd.'
[RP]: Reidia Daylan says 'You are a Shepherd? We Adventurers have heard a lot about you.'
[RP]: Akriados says 'Yes we are a clan that wanders with but one goal, to help all in need.'
[RP]: Reidia Daylan says 'We have a similar mission.'
[RP]: Akriados says 'Yes, well it seems as though I may have helped the wrong person.'
[RP]: Akriados shakes his head in disapproval.
[RP]: Reidia Daylan chuckles. 'It would seem so.'
[RP]: Akriados says 'One day as I was travelling along a dusty back-road i cam upon a wounded man, and I took it upon myself to help him.'
[RP]: Akriados says 'He said nothing but lay still as I bandaged him up, then as I turned away to prepare him some tea he was gone.'
[RP]: Reidia Daylan says 'That is odd.'
[RP]: Akriados says 'I found later that day that a well-known thief had escaped from a robbing of a local inn, he had been injured but had escaped.'
[RP]: Akriados says 'I devoted myself to tracking this man down, but it seems as though someone has witnessed me in the healing of the thief, and has placed a bounty on my head.'
[RP]: Reidia Daylan says 'Any clue where he went? Or was he involved in attacking you?'
[RP]: Reidia Daylan says 'It seems as if your troubles have just doubled. Is there anything I can do to help?'
[RP]: Akriados says 'I believe he worked for a sector of the Angarak army, and now has the Wanderers after him.'
[RP]: Reidia Daylan says 'Why don't you give me what info you have. I have contacts in Camaar that I can use and see if I can aid you in your search.'
[RP]: Akriados says 'From what I have gathered he might have retreated to a local hideout on the outskirts of town to the nearby south, please by all means find as much as you can, I feel my life is nearing it's end if I cannot solve this.'
[RP]: Reidia Daylan says 'It's late, and I must sleep. But I have seemed to missed getting your name. I am Reidia Daylan.'
[RP]: Akriados says 'My name is Akriados, I would give you a last name, but my life has not led me to needing one. It has been a pleasure meeting you Reidia Daylan. Shall we try to rest up and continue this in the morning?'
[RP]: Reidia Daylan says 'That sounds like our plan. I hope when our paths meet again it is under happier circumstances.'
[RP]: Akriados says 'Yes, as do I.'
[RP]: (Akriados): He leads her out the door closing and locking it behind her.
