An excerpt from Wildantor:
a Family History
From the desk of Geraldian, Wildantor family historian
Baron, here is the excerpt from my book you were looking for. I
hope you enjoy.
Sincerely, Geraldian
Kieralla of Embrig, a distant cousin of Wildantor is one of Asturia's
greatest patriots. Her service to Arendia took place behind the
scenes of battle. As a child, she was the youngest of seven, a product
of her parents' old age. Her parents and siblings doted on her and
she was given many opportunities that the average Asturian maid
was not given. Her interest in healing came from a chance meeting
with Lady Ariana of Wildantor. It was a time of peace in Arendia
and to celebrate the family Wildantor invited all relations to their
estate. Kieralla's mother was a second cousin to the current patriarch
of the family so she packed her brood and traveled to meet with
the elatives. Ariana was the wife of Lelldorin, the heir of Wildantor
however, she was a Mimbrate. The family was not too fond of that
fact, even though there was no open hostility, and they generally
ignored her. Ariana found Kieralla was a quick learner and suggested
a small academy in Sendar that would be a good place for the young
Asturian to continue her education. On the summer after her 18th
birthday Kieralla set off to Sendar to study the healing arts.

Diary part 1
Dear diary.
Well, last night I made it into Sendar. I also made the mistake
of going into a tavern. There i found a lot of action, but also
a Mimbrate. Albeit he was dreamy, he a MIMBRATE!!!! Why does Chaldan
have to make such a pig, so gorgeous? Oh well, I hope I don't ever
see him again.

A
letter home
Dearest family,
I am learning a great deal here in Sendar. My studies are going
well, and I am receiving good marks for my work. I have also learned
many things about people living in this city. I have never seen
so many different types of people, and everyone seems to get along.
I still have my prejudices though, and it is difficult for me at
times. I see Mimbrates as a whole, not as individuals. That is a
flaw of which I am not proud of. I do my best and I have had my
eyes opened. I know now that I need to judge people as individuals,
not as a whole. I have also decided to devote my life to healing
others and working for the greater good. I know that I have changed
for the better, after the folly of my youth. I have learned to reach
past my selfishness and to embrace the bigger good. That is why
I will not be returning home after i have graduated, i will go into
this world to help others.
Love, Kieralla
