Back to the Hall
' I can't believe it! Lost in Sthiss Tor again...' I muttered to
myself. 'I knew I shouldn’t have trusted that Nyissan, he's
probably off eating berries as I speak!' I muttered again. I stopped
and took a deep sigh. 'I'm going to have to find this place sooner
or later, Where COULD he be!'
Walking again I noticed someone behind me, and he wasn't a Nyissan
either. I kept walking as if I hadn't noticed him, 'I think he's
following me...' I muttered.
The next thing I know I heard a whistling sound above my head, and
a crash in front of me. That bloody man threw a dagger at me! Well,
now is a better time to practice then any I thought, so I started
to concentrate. What do I want to do to him I thought to myself.
I'm not really armed to fight, something that will let me get away.
As I look up I see him running at me with a sword yelling. He got
within 10 feet of me and I raised my hand. 'Sleep' I said, and he
stopped dead in his tracks, lowering his sword. I walked up to him
very slowly, and nudged him... nothing.
As I looked around I saw someone coming from the other direction,
instantly I thought to myself it was the partner of the person I
made go to sleep. Then as he came close I saw it was my Nyissan
friend, he showed up after all.
'Who is this guy?' Paec said.
'I haven't a clue, but he was trying to kill me.'
Paec's eyebrow shot up 'Really? Why isn't he still trying then?'
'You told me I needed practice didn't you? Well, I thought now would
be a great time. I didn't know sleep worked so well though.'
Paec grinned. 'Well, we better get you back to the clan hall then,
he'll be waking up soon I imagine.'
'Good idea, I don't like having to look over my shoulder every five
minutes just to see if someone is throwing knives at me.
So how do we get there?' I said.
'Follow me, and keep a lookout for anymore people until we get to
the hall, you'll be safe there.'
I nodded and glanced back as we set off down another alley, into
the darkness.
