Twincharger's Supra...

This is the home of supradude\twincharger's Supra, it's an '83 with a 200,000 mile 5MGE under the hood... and still counting.
That's 208,761 !
When the engine finally needs replacement, a 7MGET with a copper head gasket and large A/C cooled water/air intercooler will be installed. But, by the looks of things underhood, that installation won't be needed for a very long time.

As it is now, the car is what I would call 'aerodynamically challenged' with two rear wings, dual Nissan 300ZX style hoodscoops and functional side vents from a Fiat X-19. It was owned by a bodyman a few years ago. The tires are 205/50/15 on the front and a whopping 245/50/15 in the rear. That's 11.3 inches of tire width filling the fenderwells, and fill it does... No rubbing inside or out thanks to the custom backspacing of the 15 inch rims.

Inside is the home of 3 amplifiers, a cheap electronic crossover and 2 lanzar 12's in a box that's chained and padlocked to the floor of the car (so don't get any ideas....). Separate tweeters and lots of midrange 'experiments'. I built boxes to fit the spaces in the back seats where the 5x7's used to be, but the mids need to come from the front to sound good, I've gone through several sets of 4inch door speakers and wasn't happy with any of them, and there's not enough room in the dash to help the small front speakers.

The taillights say 'Euro spec' on the inside, I'm not exactly sure where they came from, and I've never seen another supra with the same lights, but I really like them. That's not paint on the lights, that's molded black plastic!. Hey, support your friends!
