1976
Introduction of the R14
Available models were the R14 L and TL, both with the 1218 cm3 engine of 42 kW.
The first car is build in the beginning of 1976 at the Douai factory in the North of France (Nord). The car is also made at the factory in Haren, Belgium.

1977
Available models:
R1210: R14 L and TL

1978
Available models:
R1210: R14 L and TL

1979
Introduction of the R14 TS (R1211) with the 1218 cm3 engine with 51 kW. R14 L and TL are now called R14 and R14 GTL.
Changes: new support for the spare wheel, other fresh air outlets for the lateral windows, different roof construction and a new type a roof upholstery.

R1210: R14 and GTL
R1211: R14 TS

1980
A new engine for the R14 TS: 1360 cm3 with 52 kW. Also available a simpler LS version with this engine.

R1212: R14 LS, TS

1981
Available models:

R1212: R14 LS, TS

1982
GTL version recieves a new 1360 cm3 engine with 44 kW.

Adjustable headlights in three positions
Children-locks on rear doors

Armed polyester bumpers, choc absorbant at low speeds
Control lights for: Lights, handbrake, starter, brake fluid level, oil pressure, rear window heating, indicators...
Speedometer, Fuel gauge, battery gauge
Pocket holes on left door and on right side under dashboard
Foldable and removable backseats
Spare wheel under bonnet, in engine compartiment
Possibility to use electronic diagnosis equipment
Front wheel drive
Strengthened body structure with deformable front and rear parts
Rear window demister
Seat belts with automatic retractors
