After being in the top 5 in the series first two years (fifth in 1995 and second in 1996) Jack Sprague broke through in 1997 with three wins and 16 top-5s. Sprague past Rich Bickle late in the year and ended with a decent margin over Bickle in the standings.

Jack Sprague also has experience in the NASCAR Busch Series. He had over 70 starts and won almost $250,000. He won one Busch Pole Award at Charlotte Motor Speedway in 1991. His best finish in the series was a second which came in 1992 at Virginia's New River Valley Speedway.

Jack Sprague is part of the Hendrick Racing Team, which one championships in both the Winston Cup Series and the Craftsman Truck Series in 1997.

Jack is 5'7", 145 lbs. He was born in Spring Lake, Michigam on August 8, 1964.

In his Craftsman Truck Series career, he has raced for 3 years, started 77 races, won 13 with 46 top-5s and 67 top-10s. He has won $1,904,247 in the series. These stats are as of the end of the 1998 season.
