After being in the top 5 in the series first two years (fifth in 1995 and second in 1996) Jack Sprague broke through in 1997 with three wins and 16 top-5s. Sprague past Rich Bickle late in the year and ended with a decent margin over Bickle in the standings. Jack Sprague also has experience in the NASCAR Busch Series.
