Measures ~ Salset Shocolata ~   Jar

(Chocolate Sauce)

Use this sauce with icecream. Also great for pie or cake topping.


~ Ingredients ~
½ cup dark cocoa powder
1 cup milk
½ tsp instant coffee
1 tbsp granulated sugar for bitter sauce 2 tbsp for sweet sauce
20 g unsalted butter
1 tsp corn starch diluted in some cold milk or water
vanilla essence

Dilute cocoa powder and instant coffee in some warm milk. Put in saucepan with rest of milk, sugar and butter. Bring to boil on low heat. Remove from heat. Add diluted corn starch and beat well. Return to heat and bring to boil again. Leave boiling for 2 minutes. Add vanilla. Serve as desired.
Yields 1 cup.
