Muamalaat

Muamalaat means Trade and Commerce. Honesty and truthfulness in trade and commerce is also one of the important and basic teachings of Islam. It is clear from Qur’an and the Hadis of Prophet Muhammad Peace be upon him that a true Muslim is he who is honest, truthful, does not deceive or mislead anyone, does not gives false witness, does not break promises, does not accept unlawful income like bribe or interest, does not weigh less while selling.

Almighty Allah says in the Holy Qur’an:

And eat up not one another's property unjustly (in any illegal way e.g. stealing, robbing, deceiving, etc.)
("Noble Qur'an" Surah 2.Al Baqara, verse:188 )

This noble verse of the Holy Qur’an prohibits for Muslims all illegal, immoral and wrong sources of income like interest, bribe, gambling etc.

Many other verses of the Holy Qur’an and Hadis of Prophet Muhammad Peace be upon him specifically prohibit other illegal source of income.

Whoever earns money by the above mentioned illegal, immoral and wrong methods and uses that money to buy food or clothes Prophet MuhammadPeace be upon him has said that Allah will not accept his worship and will not listen to his prayers and even if he gives that money to charity, his charity will not be accepted. Pure and Good source of income:
