Even though I knew of his music and I was a great fun,observing his talent first hand as a band member was a privilage I wont forget. Muluken has a voice that makes other vocalist envious.He has become a big influence for many vocalists. One of the singers where you can see Muluken's influence is the talented singer Tewodros Tadesse. Muluken also played the drum set which made him a stronger musician not just a singer.
When Muluken retired from singing at an early age to become more envolved in the church, it was a big loss for the music community. He continued singing church songs which became also popular with church goers. Muluken is still active in the church in many capacities among which is a gospel recording artist. I wish Muluken the best in his life and will always thank him for the legacy he left behind.
