When looking for a school, many people are concerned about whether or not the program has a SENIOR SHOWCASE. A senior showcase is best defined as a talent show that the school puts on that only graduating senior participate in. However, it is not just a "talent show," as agents and important people from the business are invited to attend. The point of a senior showcase is to get students noticed so that they will have a leg up in the business when they graduate. The show is set up to show off the students' talents in a variety of ways. It may include ensemble numbers, solos, duets, dance numbers, monologues, or scene selections. In some schools, only senior that the school deems to have progressed far enough in their training are permitted to participate in the showcase. What follows is a list started by Jrmom and Dancersmom. If you know of a school that offers a senior showcase for its graduating seniors, but is not listed on here, please go to the contact page and let us know. (Thanks for the updates, Mtmommy!)
