The Lakeside Rowing Club (see history), has its boats in the Hangar #13 of the Olympic Rowing and Canoing Course "Virgilio Uribe" in Cuemanco, at the Mexico City south (where is?). Moreover, Lakeside has a Club House for the members, beside the beautiful canals of Xochimilco.

 

If you want to be a member, your age or sex is not important, come with us and enjoy this wonderful sport of rowing. If you want more information about us, you can go to the Hangar #13 with the trainer Alfredo Noriega o send us an e-mail (to remo_lakeside@yahoo.com.mx with the SUBJECT INFORMATION).

 

Lakeside organized 2 regattas each year: The Offitial Regatta

, for oarsmen and oarswomen affiliated to the Rowing Mexican Federation (FMR) and Ofitial Federations of other countries. And the Traditional Regatta, for oarsmen and oarswomen with or without offitial affiliation.

 

Even Lakeside has celebrated regattas since the existence of the Mexican Asociation of Regattas (today FMR), in the beggining of XX century, both of its present regattas has been organized with offitial recognition since 11 and 20 years each one. Moreover, each year, you can read complete information of the Offitial Regatta, articles and opinions about mexican and world rowing in the Annual Lakeside Magazine.
