Mounts

Mounts are the fleshy hills that appear in the palm of the hands, but underneath the fingers. The main idea is the larger and thicker the mount, the stronger is the characteristic in that specific field.

There are eight major mounts, which are separated by valleys, and each has a specific meaning of the person's character.

Occasionally, a hand has more than one well-developed mount. In that case, simply note the mounts and combine their qualities. After all, a person can be both a 'dreamer' and a 'creator', or a 'leader' and a 'thinker'. If two mounts stand equally high in the hand, be sure they are also equally firm to the touch before you decide that both are equally developed.

A high mount means that you have those qualities in you, while a firm one shows you are using those qualities. If a mount is flat or soft, its qualities and potential are either not present or they are not being used. Using the potential that is in you makes the mounts grow firm.

Jupiter

Jupiter has ambition, drive, a strong ego and a desire for achievement. He's found in high profile positions as a leader or teacher or executive. He is generous, volunteering time and money to many causes. He has interest in religion or spiritual life. He sets high standards for himself and others. Honor and integrity matter deeply to him.

A few of the careers in which he will excel are teaching, politics, public speaking, administration, publishing, diplomacy and the food service industry.

Saturn

Saturn has a love of solitude. He needs time to think and ponder over life's mysteries. He is good investigator or philosopher who is known for his wise and cautious ways. He is very conservative and likes to live close to the land, or wherever there is peace, quiet, order and harmony in everyday life. he can be reclusive and does not need any frills.

Saturn makes a good analyst, researcher, mathematician or scientist. Other good career choices are geology, geophysics, metallurgy, agriculture and ecology.

Apollo

Apollo is a performer, a star, in any territory. Warm, full of joy and spontaneity, he attracts notice. He likes the spotlight, and is often the center of an admiring circle of friends. He is versatile and artistic, in love with the beauty and drama of life. Love, laughter, creativity and a taste for the extraordinary are his trademarks.

His best career choices are artist, actor or performer, at gallery or arts and crafts shop owner or museum director. He will also excel in film or video, music or the entertainment industry, sales, advertising and public relations. He is good makeup artist, image consultant, designer or interior decorator.

Mercury

Mercury's chief traits are quickness of mind, shrewdness and penetrating insight. Not much escapes his notice. Good in business, he manages money and plans marketing strategy well. He is quite the deal-maker. He is sometimes intellectual and often a very eloquent speaker. Full of wit and humor, he knows just how to motivate others.

Mercury excels as an entrepreneur and pioneer. He is found in all professional fields, including business, banking and finance. Medicine appeals to him, as well as psychiatry. He also does well as a psychologist, therapist or social worker, writer, editor, or gossip columnist. He is often also found in aviation.

Venus

Venus qualities include a love of life, and abundance of energy, a strong feeling for home and family and a love of humanity. Upper Mars

Here we see the soul of patience, a person who is calm, persevering, steady, dependable and who resists pressure from any quarter. A nurturing type, upper Mars is helpful to others and follows through in any project. The chief quality is courage.

Upper Mars is good in any communication field, personnel management or administration. This type does well in manufacturing and production and is often found in heavy equipment sales and other businesses. Any job that requires a steady hand, such as arts, crafts engraving, assembling small parts, or steady nerves, such as air traffic control, is natural for this Mars.
