Marty is named top Irish Metrosexual |

It's official. A new, totally unsubstantiated poll received by The Naked
Galwegian this week has confirmed what we have all known for years,
that Marty Whelan is the nation's favourite gay straight man.
Marty has been a hot favourite to top the Metrosexuals for some time. His heavy involvement in washing powder adverts, dodgy hair-dying jobs, pensioner/daytime TV and general effeminate persona have all contributed greatly to him winning this prestigious title. A spokesperson for M.I. (Metrosexuals Ireland) has said "We're delighted for Marty, we couldn't think of a nicer guy to give it to, personally I'd give it to him…some of us did have our money on Derek Mooney, he's after building up a huge fan base with his excellent TV game show, Winning Streak, but then again he probably wouldn't qualify since he is actually gay…isn't he?…oops, don't quote me on that" |
