Time required 45 minutes -
Serves 6 as main meal
1 tablespoon oil
1 large onion
500 grams lean mince beef
140 tub Leggo's Tomato Paste with Garlic & Herbs
1 teaspoon beef stock powder blended with 1 cup water
¼ cup sliced black olives
300g spaghetti, cooked and well drained
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
500g jar of Chicken Easy Simmer Sauce - Creamy Mushroom & Bacon
Cracked pepper to taste
Garlic bread and salad to serve
Preheat oven to 180c. Grease an 8-cup shallow casserole dish. Heat oil in a pan and add onion. Cook for 1 minute. Add mince and cook for a further 3 - 4 minutes.
Stir through tomato paste, stock and olives. Bring to boil, then reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 10 minutes. Stir occasionally.
Place half of the drained spaghetti in the prepared dish and sprinkle with a little Parmesan. Top with the meat sauce followed by the remaining spaghetti.
Pour over the mushroom and bacon sauce and top with the remaining Parmesan. Season to taste with pepper. Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden brown and heated through.
Serve with garlic bread and salad
