Royal Chops With Potatoes (also called Meat a la France)

It's a very common festive dish in Ukraine. It also can be found in most restaurants in Kiev. Many people I know cook it without potatoes (the same way of cooking, just without potatoes). But my family cooks it in such a way, and I think that the potatoes is the most delicious part of this dish.

pork
1 jar of mayonnais
300 g of cheese
1 onion
potatoes
salt, pepper

Put a little oil into frying pan. Spread chopped onions. Put the salted raw potatoes n the top of onion. Then put the chopped pork so that i covers all the frying pan. Add a little salt and a lot of pepper. Grate the cheese and cover the meat with it. Cover the cheese with mayonnaise. Put into the oven. Bake for 10 minutes much heat and then for 20 minutes in the minimum heat, then again in much heat. When the mayonnaise baked with cheese gets yellowish-brown in colour, turn the oven off.
