Duty - the conduct, service and functions that arise from one's position in the Legion based on the force of the moral obligation we possess as free men to remain free.
Honor - encompasses honesty, respect, integrity and reputation. Our honor promises we will do what we say we will do and maintain an ethical code of conduct while keeping our word.
Justice - though in many places the law has been swept away, in the Legion the law remains. What is right and true, based on the old laws of Sabattann, is steadfastly held, maintained and administered by the impartial adjustment of conflicting claims or the assignment of merited rewards or punishments.
Courage - is the firmness of mind and will to venture, persevere, and withstand fear, danger, or difficulty, resist opposition, triumph over hardship, with fortitude, resilience, stubborn persistence and the unwillingness to admit defeat.
Freedom - We in the Legion seek for all races the absence of necessity, coercion, or constraint in choice or action. We seek liberation from slavery, from obedience out of fear and from the restraining, controlling power of others, namely the Church of the Nuclear Messiah. We seek to be free from the onerous oppression of those who would take our goods, our talents and our labor without giving in return. We seek the liberty in the security of knowledge that our own hands can protect us from tyranny when it arises.
