Born from the ashes of the remaining national armies and militia groups of Sabatt, the Legion of Freemen is
perhaps the most politically motivated organization at this time. The mission of the LoF is quite
uncomplicated: to bring freedom and justice back to the lands that have now grown wild and fallen into the
hands of petty despots and other unsavory types. The Legion seeks to create a singular government for all of
Sabatt and all its people, free from the influence of the Church of the Nuclear Messiah.
Organized in a military manner, the Legion follows a strict code of rank and is divided into several regiments
with their own local commanders. As with the Union of Medics, most of the founding members of the LoF
are deceased. The organization is now manned by the descendants of the founding fathers as well as those
who have joined the ranks over the ensuing years.
Currently, the top commanding officer of the Legion is Ricohh Mikkaill Gideonn. He has proven himself to be
a sound tactical mind, having led several ambitious (not to mention successful) raids on Church of the
Nuclear Messiah outposts and supply depots. It has been this sort of bravery and cunning which has
catapulted Ricohh to the forefront of this organization, thusly giving its members hope for a brighter future.
While the LoF continues the remnants of the Great War in its skirmishes with the Church of the Nuclear
Messiah, it is not xenophobic of technology ... in fact the Legion employs quite a bit of advanced weaponry
and other battle-proven gadgetry. The most common arms found in the hands of the LoF are still, however,
simple firearms and swords.
